Camilla and Marc Balances Buttoned Up With Buttoned Down for Spring '12

We were sad to see that one of our favourites, camilla and marc, skipped a formal catwalk show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week this year; making this preview of this Spring 2012 look book all the more exciting. For the season ahead, it's the balance of the buttoned up with the buttoned down. Neat shell tops, cut-to-there cigarette pants, nipped-in waists and tulip skirts provide a structured, almost over-sized outer shell, while streamlined sheaths, wide-legged trousers and waterfall-lapelled blazers add a sense of fluidity to the mix. The local label's signature prints are out in full force, with photo-print florals, polkadots and abstract graphics giving visual interest to the palette of solid sorbets, bold brights and neutral nude and black bases. We suggest you use this time before the collection drops in store (you've got until July) to make a wish list — or two! Stockists: National boutiques or call (02) 9331 1133.
