H&M Winter 2011 Ad Campaign Frida Gustavsson

If you need further proof that '60s chic will be in high gear for Fall, look to H&M's latest Winter campaign. The new ad, featuring Frida Gustavsson in a slicked back high ponytail, shows simple structured silhouettes in the way of sheath dresses, knits, tops, and trousers dipped in purple, blue, and dark citron hues. Here are the top three cold weather dressing tips we've gleaned from the ad:

  • Invest in colored tights to pair with streamlined dresses and skirts.
  • Colorblocking is here to stay; try pairing a boxy top with vibrant trousers for a chic, work-appropriate ensemble.
  • Shift dresses and A-line silhouettes are a simple way to inject instant '60s appeal — and don't forget the loafers.
  • Now flip through the rest of the campaign images and start taking notes.
