Kelly Cutrone is branching out. From her hard to miss role on The City, to her aptly titled If You Need To Cry Go Outside book, to her own show spin-off reality show Kell On Earth, Kelly is now getting into the world of fashion design — an area she is usually on the other end of as PR guru for People's Republic. WWD reported that Ms Cutrone's label, to be called Electric Love Army, came about after a chance meeting with Tory Burch's ex-husband and venture capitalist Chris Burch on a Soho street. After a feisty exchange between the outspoken pair, they met to collaborate on the new label — which is due to hit stores in February 2012. The inspiration for Kelly's line? Empowered women, of course. Wanting to embolden women, Kelly's design muses include Cher, Debbie Harry circa Blondie and Joan Jett. The reality star is rumoured to be visiting Australia soon...fingers crossed we can get the inside scoop. We can't wait to see sportswear based collection, which will retail from $30 — $300 USD. Looks like 2012 is going to be a big year for Kelly and her Electric Love Army!
