2013 has been mighty kind to local purveyors of fine lingerie. Australia got its first Agent Provocateur stores (c/o David Jones) back in February, and La Perla has just announced that it will be setting up shop down under too. The first Australian flagship will open its doors in August at Sydney Airport's T1 International Terminal. The location means that not only will the Italian lingerie house will sit next to the likes of Victoria's Secret, but that shoppers will benefit from the terminal's duty and tax free pricing. The 60 square metre emporium will be La Perla's 130th store, and the brand is promising to employ the same high-quality materials and attention to detail to the store fit-out as it does to its luxurious lingerie collections. Step inside to get a glimpse of the craftsmanship that Australians can expect to see on home soil soon.
