Not so long ago we had the pleasure to chat to Lover's designing duo, Susien Chong and Nic Briand, at the Artisans of Fashion exhibition launch. Standing in their first stand-alone store in Sydney's Strand Arcade, we started off discussing about the provenance of their signature lace and ended up talking about the danger of Tumblr vortexes — namely, the inevitable pull of topless models and Scandinavian interiors. It may have been a brief conversation, but within minutes the creative yin and yang between Nic and Susien was obvious. Her, the softly spoken creative and him, the engineer. Together they are truly a delightfully funny and perfectly balanced fashion force. See what they had to say, then keep clicking to see the rest of Lover's delectable Spring/Summer '12 collection.
