Models navigated a three-dimensional sculpture on the Michael Lo Sordo runway — and that was the first inkling that this Spring Summer 2014/15 showcase would be different. While the collection paid homage to the designer's signature tailoring, there was a more ethereal element in play.

Key colour trends included wide white and black pinstripes, gelati shades of lemon yellow and fairy-floss pink, as well as snakeskin-inspired prints and textures. Lo Sordo debuted light trench coats, perfect for cool Spring evenings, as well as plenty of skirts with sheer hems and tops with curved shoulders. Garment details aside, the true magic of Michael Lo Sordo's show was in the styling. Light-as-air layers were bundled together with nonchalance, whether it was a dress falling casually off a model's shoulder, or a jacket tied artfully around the waist, the entire line-up felt cool, casual and undone. Basically, this is the collection that epitomises "I just threw this one."

Ryan Storer added to the aesthetic with an exclusive line of jewellery, created to complement the runway collection. Directional ear cuffs reflected both the runway sculpture and the collection's tailoring lines, while flat slip-on sneakers only amplified the inscouent vibe on the runway.
