There's a small part in The September Issue where Anna Wintour sits at home with daughter Bee Shaffer and talks about her daughter's want to pursue law rather than fashion. It's an interesting scene and one which caught my eye for all the wrong reasons: I couldn't believe Anna Wintour's taste in homewares. From memory there was a sponged-effect yellow wall (gah), some questionable works of art and a strange mix of country-inspired knick knacks on the mantle. Interesting for a New York designer abode, dontcha think? Thankfully, her Long Island retreat seems a little more styled. It's been featured in this month's The World of Interiors decorating magazine where Anna opens up about her holiday home to ex Vogue staffer and newly appointed T Magazine editor Sally Singer. Catch a glimpse at the Martha Stewart-esque home in our gallery.
