It's royal wedding fever here at Sugar HQ, and we're all placing our bets on which designer will nab the esteemed job of making Kate Middleton's wedding dress. Princess Diana made Elizabeth Emanuel famous overnight when she wore the designer's flounced and frilled creation for her wedding day and we're guessing, being the future Queen of England and all, that Kate will be patriotic and pick a British design house for her gown too. We got excited and jumped on Net-a-Porter to scope out Kate's options. The question is, what will she choose? Something boho and feminine from Matthew Williamson, or perhaps dramatic and SATC inspired by Vivienne Westwood? Kate may be tempted to keep with her love of steamlined styles from Issa, or maybe she'll go all out in a fabulously romantic gown by Temperley? Whatever Kate picks, we're sure she'll look amazeballs. Which UK designer do you think will get the gig?
From left: Matthew Williamson, Vivienne Westwood, Issa and Temperley. All avaiable at Net-a-Porter.
