Naomi Watts Confirms Marriage to Billy Crudup With Wedding-Day Photo: “Hitched!”

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup are married! On Saturday, Watts shared a photo from her special day on Instagram. In the pic, she’s wearing a gorgeous white gown with lace detailing in what appears to be a floral pattern. Crudup, who donned a blue suit for the occasion, has his arm around her shoulder. “The Ring” actor captioned her post, “Hitched! 🕊️🪢♥️”

The couple sparked marriage rumors earlier in the day when Page Six posted photos of them in their wedding-day outfits and wearing rings. Watts’s confirmation also revealed their wedding was a private affair. In addition to their photo being taken on what appears to be the steps of a courthouse, the bride said her bouquet was purchased at a deli in her Instagram Story.

Since they opted for a small ceremony, the couple’s famous friends celebrated them in the comments section on Watts’s post. “Hooray!!! Just woke up to this !!!!!👏👏👏👏Congrats!!! 🎸🎸💋💋🍾🍾You two couldn’t look happier !!!XO,” Jennifer Coolidge wrote. Julianne Moore added, “FINALLY!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” Meanwhile, Watts’s ex, Liev Schreiber, commented, “Congratulations!!! Gorgeous!!!”

The best comment came from Andy Cohen, who hinted he may have played matchmaker for the pair. “I feel partially responsible for this🌈👏🏼🥰🤣❤️,” he wrote. Watts didn’t disagree. She replied, “yes you can take a decent to large portion of the credit. 😂😂”

Crudup and Watts were first linked in 2017 when they starred in the Netflix series “Gypsy” together. They didn’t officially confirm their relationship until five years later when they walked the red carpet together at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Since then, Watts has shared a few candid shots of her and Crudup on her Instagram, including a cuddly photo in February, which she captioned, “My darling.”

This is both Crudup and Watts’s first marriage. “The Morning Show” actor shares a 19-year-old son, William Atticus Parker, with his ex Mary Louise Parker. Meanwhile, Watts and Schreiber have two children, Kai, 14, and Sasha, 15.
