It takes a lot of confidence to completely revamp your look, especially when you’re in the public eye. Selena Gomez knows a thing or two about that. The 31-year-old songstress and Rare Beauty founder has managed to successfully define her style from the street to the red carpet, but as they say, “it takes a village.” Gomez can credit much of her evolution to stylist Kate Young, who she began working with in 2015 while promoting her Revival tour, as well as Erin Walsh, who has been curating her wardrobe as of late.

While she has worked closely with Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière and Coach’s Stuart Vevers on custom looks for many an event, most notably the Met Gala, Gomez has also opted for sophisticated silhouettes from Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Rodarte, and Armani. When she’s off duty, she sources her sleek pieces from the likes of Ganni, Victor Glemaud, Sezane, and Mango, to name a few. She is also rarely without a pair of Jennifer Fisher hoops.

Of course, as you backtrack from her more recent looks – often twinning moments with friend Nicola Peltz Beckham – you’ll find that Gomez’s aesthetic veered on the sultry side in the early days of her career, with plenty of vibrant, skin-revealing gowns that featured cutouts, plunging necklines, and high leg slits. These days, the “Only Murders in the Building” star is sporting plenty of basics, from shirt dresses to cozy turtlenecks.

Gomez’s latest snap shows her stepping out in Paris during Fashion Week in an elegant yet flirty Jacquemus polka-dot minidress replete with puff sleeves and corsetry. She accessorized with Versace patent pumps, a Jacquemus bag, and silver Mejuri hoops, her wavy brown hair parted to the side.

Ahead, take another peek at the fresh outfit that’s stopped fans in their tracks, then reminisce about all of Gomez’s best fashion moments to date.
