Between the slew of award shows and big red-carpet events, it was a busy week for some of our favourite style and beauty setters. We got a glimpse of the one and only Karl Lagerfeld on set at a photo shoot, and hung out with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lana Del Rey and Jaime King at the Golden Globes after-party. Doutzen Kroes sipped on a fresh coconut from where we'd rather be, and Aussie Isabelle Cornish made us wanna wear anything camouflage with her cool take on the trend. Zooey Deschanel's nails were incredible and Nicole Richie's detailing stunning, but the picture that got the most attention on social media this week? Miranda Kerr's Golden Globes selfie. Check it all out right here!

Adele won Best Original Song at this week's Golden Globe Awards, and being her first outing since baby, we were dying to lay eyes on her! The Brit singer went sky-high with her hair and thanks to Sally Hansen, her pointy claw nails were shinier than the trophy she took home. Interestingly, the brand created an exclusive gold-flecked nail polish for the event, and it's called Pennies for Heaven. Her manicurist used a rose petal pink underneath the gold, which is a handy way to give a metallic or glitter-based polish greater depth and dimension. The same goes for using white as a base under neon and pastel polishes. So sneaky, right? Click through to see Adele's nails up close and find out how we'll be adapting this look on our talons.
If you love all things glamour, then the Golden Globes are for you. It's the show where actresses from both film and TV unite wearing their hair and makeup finest. And this is where you can see all the stars up close and personal. See the most minute shadow flecks, every curl, and more. It's all here.
Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosted this year's Golden Globes, and suffice it to say, they pretty much hit it out of the park. Not only did they make a great team (and show up in the occasional costume), but they also weren't afraid to take aim at their fellow celebs. Some of the one-liners were more harsh than others (Taylor Swift got hit pretty hard), but they definitely had us laughing throughout the show. Check out the best celebrity zingers of the night!
Out of all the celebeauties to hit the red carpet at yesterday's Golden Globes, Jessica Alba was a huge stand out. The ridiculously pretty actress went daring with bright orange lips and Old Hollywood waves — a look we'll be trying at our next big event. We did some beauty snooping to find out the exact lip product she wore, and sought advice from Alan Buki, co-founder of Original & Mineral and creative director of Sydney salon Original A, on how to get those waves. The Fox Network celebrated the Golden Globes with a party inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA yesterday. The Modern Family cast, including Ariel Winter, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen and Sarah Hyland, hung out inside. Sofia Vergara, who had been nominated for — but didn't clinch — her fourth consecutive supporting actress in a TV comedy Globe, made the rounds. Glee's Jane Lynch ate dinner with her wife, Lara Embry, as Fox head honcho Rupert Murdoch was on hand to congratulate his network's big winners.
Homeland was fresh off a series of wins, including individual acknowledgments for leads Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. Both actors celebrated with their spouses, Hugh Dancy and Helen McCrory, respectively. Another Fox program, New Girl, had its stars on hand. Zooey Deschanel, in her red Oscar de la Renta ball gown, brought her boyfriend, Jamie Linden.
The Golden Globes were strewn with plenty of hot hair and makeup trends, but we're zooming in on the best nails that also graced the red carpet. Here's an up close look at the top manicures from the many red carpets of award season 2013, from subtle designs to shimmering polishes to nail colour basics.
Lena Dunham was a newcomer on stage at the Golden Globes after earning honours for the very first time. The writer and actress received a statue not only for her part on Girls but also for the HBO hit as a whole. Back in the press room, she joked about getting wrapped up in awards season and how she "drank the Kool-Aid" by wearing heels to the show. She also answered questions about how she feels about critics of Girls, which Lena says are just part of her job. Check it out!
After it was all said and done, Hollywood's hottest celebrities went on to celebrate the Globes at numerous after parties including InStyle, NBC, HBO and The Weinstein Company.
