We’ve always thought that Armie Hammer had a princely look about him . . . and it seems the casting directors behind The Brothers Grimm: Snow White agree! The actor — best known for his portrayal of the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network — has been cast as Prince Andrew Alcott, joining previously-announced Julia Roberts, who will play the Evil Queen. The movie is still without a Snow White (it’s a different film to the one Kristen Stewart is headlining) though Atonement’s Saoirse Ronan is apparently “in discussions” for the title role. Armie is currently filming Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Do you think Armie has what it takes to be a prince?
We're loving Emma Roberts' grown-up sensibilities! The niece of Julia Roberts spoke to ELLE magazine about her childhood in showbiz, not growing up too fast, going to school, and role models. In this fab April spread, shot by April Liz Collins, Emma plays a chic chameleon switching from über tough in a Burberry studded biker jacket, to sweet and innocent in fringed white Chanel number, to a retro queen in a pair of kickin' Dior shades. The common thread? We're picking up on a little rockabilly, Pink Ladies style — a la Grease. Wanna see more?
It was first reported at the end of January that Kristen Stewart was the top pick for the titular character in an edgy remake of Snow White and the Huntsman. Most of you think she’d be a good fit and it seems the studio agrees — Palak Patel, a producer on the film, tweeted to a fan: “official confirmation coming next week. But we are in final negotiations,” and to another person: “KStew is officially playing Snow White and her deal is in final negotiations and will close next week.” Both tweets have since been removed from Palak’s account, but a quick-thinking fan managed to get screen grabs before they disappeared.
It seems like 2012 will be the year of Snow White — aside from this production, which has Charlize Theron and Viggo Mortensen attached, another film titled The Brothers Grimm: Snow White has been announced with Julia Roberts as the villainous queen. Which movie are you more excited for?

Julia Roberts may be famous for that toothy smile, but she's going to have to channel her dark side for her next role. As expected, the actress is set to play the villainous queen in The Brothers Grimm: Snow White. (Just to keep you confused, this is a separate film from Snow White and the Huntsman, which has Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in talks). No word yet on who will join her as Snow White and co., but can you see Roberts as an evil-doer?

Okaaay, so we usually focus on the positive, not the negative, so this goes a little against the grain. The 2010 Golden Globes gave us a plethora of top shelf frocks to look at (scope yesterday's Best Dressed List), but there were some doozies as well.
