We had a lot of beautiful looks to pore over this week, what with a fancy Vogue dinner and the 2013 Cannes Film Festival taking place, but we had to be selective and whittle our list of favourites down to 10. When it comes to the absolute best, no-holds-barred beauty looks of the week, we have to be wowed — and wowed we were when we caught sight of Cara Delevingne's Cannes look. It was dramatic, sexy and could've easily gone wrong. . . but it was so right. Jennifer Lawrence also opted for a bold lip, and speaking of bold, we were huge fans of Nicole Kidman's futuristic ponytail. She wore a Valentino jumpsuit and flashed her bauble, which has been the subject of a lot of speculation after rumours surfaced in March that her relationship with Liam Hemsworth was on the rocks. Since the gossip began, Miley has been spotted not wearing her ring, and she ditched her bling when she attended the 2013 Met Gala earlier this month. Miley was apparently so excited that she leaked the news before Maxim even had the chance to. Five days before Friday's official announcement, Miley joined Instagram and dedicated her first post to expressing her gratitude for being crowned No. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list. Inside the issue, Miley said, "It feels amazing to be No. 1, especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world!" She added, "It's every woman's fantasy to be told she's No. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100! So crazy!" Miley landed the top spot ahead of No. 4 Mila Kunis, No. 8 Kate Upton, and No. 14 Beyoncé Knowles. Maxim will host its annual Hot 100 party in LA on Wednesday, honouring Miley's new title.
