When your Twitter feed is full of comedians, models and actors who moonlight at geniuses, it's a pretty safe bet that some of the tweets you read will be great. This week, Scott Dooley won Twitter with his doozy — and we'd happily push to get his definition of the word "selfie" added to the dictionary. Model Chrissy Teigen is upset about something (and we can totally feel her pain), Fifi Box has had a very awkward moment with her mum and singer Pink loves someone's sour breath (true story!). Russell Brand tweeted about who he thinks was the last true rock star, Ben Affleck mourned the loss of an industry legend and Neil Patrick Harris might just have the best partner ever. . . Andrew, Jessica, Amanda and More Hit the Tonys Red Carpet
It was a big evening for stage actors and theatre fans on Sunday thanks to the Tony Awards in NYC. There were plenty of fashionable ladies on the red carpet, including a Marios Schwab-clad Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried in edgy Givenchy. Jessica was one of the evening's presenters and was especially excited to snap a picture with Broadway legend Bernadette Peters. Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, smiled for the cameras, as did a long list of leading men like Paul Rudd, James Marsden and Matthew Morrison. Death of a Salesman did, though, win for best revival of a play.
Brad Ditches His Cane and Proudly Escorts Angelina to the Producers Guild Awards
Brad Pitt joined Angelina Jolie at the Producers Guild Awards held at LA's Beverly Hilton Saturday night. He made his way down the red carpet before the event without the help of the black cane he's been carrying recently. Brad chatted with press and stopped to talk with PopSugar US about his first reaction to seeing Angelina's In the Land of Blood and Honey and if he has plans to direct. Brad said "hell no!" in regards to directing, so for now it seems Angelina will remain the only member of their family stepping behind the camera.
Angelina, who was wearing a lace Michael Kors dress and Ferragamo pumps, revealed the biggest compliment she's received about the film. Once inside the event, Brad sat in the audience and was clearly beaming when Angelina took the stage to accept the Stanley Kramer Award from presenter Morgan Freeman. Morgan and Angelina shared a kiss and a hug before she went on to thank her In the Land of Blood and Honey cast and crew. The Artist was once again the big winner on the night, taking home the motion picture of the year award. Also on hand for the latest Hollywood celebration were The Help's Jessica Chastain and Viola Davis, as well as Tobey Maguire, Jason Segel, Judd Apatow, Evan Rachel Wood and Sofia Vergara. The crowd was treated to a special performance by Alicia Keys, who sang her hits "Empire State of Mind" and "No One."
