Red Carpet Rewind: Emmys Worst Dressed
You know how it works: with every Best Dressed list, there’s a Worst Dressed to follow. And while there are some looks that are truly tragic, at least they keep things interesting — it would be a boring red carpet if everyone looked perfect! This list includes stars who are usually on form but suffered an Emmys slip up (Jennifer Garner, SJP) as well as some unfamiliar faces who let their gowns (or lack of) get all the attention. Remember to tune back in to Fab on Monday for all the 2011 red carpet action as it happens, but for now check out some of the worst Emmys dresses from years past!

Of course myself, Pop and Fab will all be on hand throughout the event to keep you up-to-speed with the red carpet action, but in the meantime, let's take a look at Emmys past to see where some celebs stumbled with their hair and makeup looks.
Glee, Fringe and More TV Stars Mingle at the Fox Upfront
It’s a busy time for TV in the States at the moment as networks announce which shows they’ll be picking up, renewing and axing. Fox, which is home to some favourites like Glee, American Idol, Fringe and more held their upfront program in New York City today, where they presented some of the new and current TV shows that’ll be sticking around on the network. They opened the show with a performance by Glee’s Warblers, led by Darren Criss, followed by the other case members singing “New York, New York,” before getting into the presentations of the shows on the Fox line-up. New shows on the roster this year include the inaugural US The X Factor and The New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel.

Paula Abdul Reunites With Simon Cowell on The X Factor US

Just last week it was confirmed that Natalie Bassingthwaighte is the fourth and final judge on the local version of The X Factor. Over in the US, Simon Cowell is putting the finishing touches on his attempt to bring the popular competition show stateside, and he’s just enlisted former American Idol colleague Paula Abdul to join him at the judges’ table with Cheryl Cole and record producer LA Reid. Paula, who judged up-and-coming talent on Idol for eight seasons before leaving the show in 2009, said in a statement, “I am excited beyond words to be a part of The X Factor. I couldn’t be happier to bring my love for cultivating talent and performance to such a wildly anticipated show.” She added, “I’m also delighted and grateful to be sitting next to Simon again . . . but you might want to check back with me in a week or two!” And it seems the feeling is mutual: Simon also said that he missed Paula and is “thrilled she’s on the show.” Rounding out the cast are Nicole Scherzinger (of Pussycat Dolls fame) and Welsh presenter Steve Jones as hosts of the show, which has just kicked off auditions in LA. How do you think the US X Factor will compare to American Idol and new show The Voice?
Andrew G to Host Paula Abdul’s New Dance Show in the US

Former Australian Idol host Andrew Gunsberg has scored a gig hosting a US reality dance show created by Paula Abdul. Live to Dance is a comeback vehicle for Paula after she was dumped from American Idol and replaced by Ellen Degeneres. Paula will be a judge alongside Pussycat Dolls singer/dancer Kimberley Wyatt and choreographer Travis Payne. The show is based on the UK series Got to Dance and starts filming tomorrow in New York. Andrew G moved to the US with wife Noa Tishby and also hosts Hot Hits Live on radio in Australia. What do you think about Andrew's new job?
The Emmys: Iconic Missteps
Excited for the Emmys much? I am. With the broadcast of the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards rolling around fast, it's flashback time. Most of the time, stars look beaut-iful for major awards shows, but other times, not so much. Of course, Pop, Fab and I will all be on hand live-blogging the event, but in the meantime, let's take a look at Emmys past to see where some stars stumbled with their hair and makeup looks.
Megan Fox, Ashlee Simpson and Kellan Lutz Join Together to Do Something
Twilight stars Kellan Lutz and BooBoo Stewart posed with lovely ladies Christina Applegate, Alyssa Milano and AnnaLynne McCord in LA yesterday at VH1's Do Something Awards. The evening honours young people committed to social change, which included the cast of Glee and Leonardo DiCaprio, though he missed out on the show since he's off promoting Inception in Japan. Jane Lynch played host for the night and kept the crowd laughing with sketches about good deeds she performs like reading Eat, Pray, Love to construction workers and doing charity work with Lindsay Lohan and Mother Teresa.
Dog lover Kellan was recognised for his efforts to help animals, and his girlfriend, AnnaLynne, was there to keep him company after her wild bikini birthday weekend in Las Vegas. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz cozied up together backstage while Megan Fox showed off her sparkly new big diamond wedding ring. Kristen Bell sported a short metallic dress on stage, and White Collar star Matt Bomer looked dreamy in Simon Spurr clothes.
