Ironman Max Beattie Is Coming to Big Brother Australia to Win

Everything is a competition for Big Brother‘s resident Ironman Max Beattie.

The elite athlete (who will surely be at home in Big Brother‘s new challenge arena “the yard”) grew up in Kiama, NSW before moving to Queensland at a young age.

Competing in professional comps since 2015, the 29-year-old was the 2016 World Life Saving Champion and is a four-time New Zealand Ironman Chamption — so it’s safe to say, the other housemates better watch their backs.

When he’s not running in and out of the surf, Beattie works in events and marketing and is a creature of habit and regiment, so obviously, sharing a house with 19 other people will be equally exciting and terrifying.

Currently single, we’re wondering if he might find love in the house, however, he says his priority is making new friends and creating good habits.

If Beattie were to win, he would celebrate with his family and friends, while putting the $250k prize money towards a new car and another property.
