Is Jeremy Renner Single? What We Know About the Actor’s Love Life

Jeremy Renner has an acting career that spans over two decades with film credits that include Oscar-winning works like “The Hurt Locker” and the beloved Avengers movie franchise. Renner began working on screen in the mid-1990s and made his debut in 1995’s “National Lampoon’s Senior Trip.” For the next 10 years, Renner had supporting roles in various films and TV shows, notably “S.W.A.T” and 2007’s “28 Weeks Later.”
He arguably became a household name following his role as Sergeant First Class William James in Kathryn Bigelow’s “The Hurt Locker,” which earned him an Oscar nomination for best actor. Most recently, Renner is known for his portrayal of Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Mike McLusky on Paramount+’s “Mayor of Kingstown.”
Outside of his prolific career, though, Renner has maintained a private personal life, including his romances. In 2012, Renner told The Hollywood Reporter, “I want my personal life to be personal.” The relationships that have been made public are few and far between, and his most significant relationship was with Canadian actor and model Sonni Pacheco, whom Renner was married to for 10 months.

Jes Macallan (2006-2010)
The two allegedly started dating when Jes Macallan was 23 after meeting at a film festival in Florida, per Us Weekly. At the time, Macallan was an aspiring actor, and the pursuit of her career alongside Renner’s reportedly led to their eventual split in 2010. Renner later revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, “That was part of the issue . . . I was going through the ‘Hurt Locker’ campaign and she’s like, ‘Where do I get headshots?'”

Janet Montgomery (2011)
Not long after his split from Macallan, Renner was rumored to be dating “Entourage” actor Janet Montgomery sometime in 2011. Per JustJared, the pair met on a flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles and were seen in Berlin and LA on a few occasions.

Sonni Pacheco (2011-2014)
Renner met actor Sonni Pacheco while on the set of “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” in 2011, as reported by The US Sun. It’s unknown when the two started dating, but in March 2013, they welcomed their daughter, Ava Berlin Renner.
In January 2014, the couple tied the knot, and 11 months later, Pacheco filed for divorce in December of that same year, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, per People.
