Woody Harrelson turned his “Champions” movie premiere into a family affair on Monday night. The actor – who hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the fifth time over the weekend – was joined by his wife, Laura Louie, and two of their children, daughters Zoe and Deni Harrelson. Noticeably missing was their third daughter, Makani Harrelson.

Woody and Louie’s love story dates all the way back to the late ’80s. The couple first met on the set of “Cheers” in 1987, and the actor hired Louie to be his personal assistant the following day. “At some point, I was like, ‘Hey, does anybody here have secretarial skills? ‘Cause I could really use an assistant.’ And this young woman, Laura Louie, raised her hand,” Harrelson previously told The Hollywood Reporter (via People) “I asked her to come down ’cause she was up in the stands. So she came down, and I said, ‘We’ll meet tomorrow. Come out to my place in Marina del Rey.'”

Louie worked for Woody for three years before they began dating, and they eventually tied the knot in 2008. “I never believed in the concept of [marriage]. I just never believed that it made any sense, this long-term monogamy thing that humans do,” Woody, who was previously married to Nancy Simon, told THR (via Today). “I just was incapable of long-term relationships. I was with whoever would have me. Then I met my wife.”

Now the couple are a family of five with their three daughters. Learn more about Deni, Zoe, and Makani ahead.
