Damon will be back to playing Carol, a pilot and (more importantly) a love interest for Liz Lemon. Here's hoping this romance will have a better fate than Liz' past relationships.
After all the celebrities walked the red carpet at the GQ UK Men of the Year Awards last night, they headed inside for the ceremony. Breakthrough Talent winner Ed Westwick posed with Lily Allen, while Woman of the Year Gemma Arterton cosied up with Nicholas Hoult. Noel Gallagher congratulated Jason Statham on his Editor's Special Award and Damon Albarn posed with Gorillaz's gong for Best Band.
Matt Damon was the guest of honour Friday night at Save the Children's Celebration of Hope event. His pregnant wife, Luciana Damon, was seated next to him for the formal dinner and Matt talked about how they're getting ready for child number four, saying, "We're bracing ourselves for our next little tornado." Matt will trade the small screen for the big when he appears in The Adjustment Bureau alongside Emily Blunt later this year.
Matt Damon was the centre of attention on Saturday night as he received the American Cinematheque Award in LA, with his family and close friends there to celebrate. The proceedings didn't get too serious, since Matt's friends like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Charlize Theron all took the stage to take good-natured pokes at him. Their new addition will join three older sisters, 11-year-old Alexia, 3-year-old Isabella and almost 2-year-old Gia. Luciana kept her growing baby bump under wraps during her and Matt's most recent public outing at his American Cinematheque Award ceremony last month, but she's apparently on her way to expanding their family.
NYC's Museum of the Moving Image hosted Hollywood's finest last night at its Salute to Clint Eastwood event. Clint himself hit the red carpet alongside Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman after recently directing them both in Invictus. Hilary Swank, who worked with Clint in Million Dollar Baby, joined the boys as she posed for photos in her blue dress.
Ready for some fantastic mid(ish)week movie news? Matt Damon is in talks to star in We Bought a Zoo, which Cameron Crowe recently signed on to direct. Damon's character is a father who moves his family to England in order to run a zoo (hence the straightforward title).
Matt Damon and Luciana stepped out in their finest formal wear at the Venice Film Festival premiere of The Informant! yesterday. The duo has already made a bit of a vacation out of the trip including a date night before Matt's photo call for the film.
