The SAG Awards took over LA this weekend, with star-studded excitement going from the red carpet to the stage and on to the press room. There was lots of excitement for celebrities of TV and film—click through to see 20 photos we love that you may have missed!
The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honour the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before. Matt Damon and his wife Luciana watched from their table, not far from where George Clooney was relaxing after his star-studded Haiti telethon. Further honours went to Dexter's Michael C. Hall, who kept things light by thanking his wife and costar Jennifer Carpenter for choosing to wear her hot white dress. Julianna Margulies was singled out by her peers for her performance on The Good Wife, looking stunning in her Narciso Rodriguez gown. Betty White was the evening's special honouree, as she was presented a Lifetime Achievement award by one of her many admirers, Sandra Bullock.
Glee, meanwhile, was crowned Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series with Jane Lynch speaking on behalf of the cast—Cory Monteith later joked that she had the honour of talking after winning an arm-wrestling contest. The stars of Mad Men similarly took home Actor statues after being declared the Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. The honourees for miniseries and films were exactly the same as at last weekend's Golden Globes—Drew Barrymore and an emotional Kevin Bacon won. Jeff Bridges picked up a statue for Crazy Heart, as did Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds and Mo'Nique for Precious. While, Sandra Bullock won again for The Blind Side, thanking her husband Jesse James by saying, "I want you so much!" Inglourious Basterds broke the trend by getting the Ensemble honours, it will be interesting to see if the consistency in individual awards translates into Oscar nominations when they're announced on February 2.

The big winners at Saturday's SAG Awards headed into the press room after picking up their statues. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey were both recognized for their work in 30 Rock, while Christina Hendricks and the cast of Mad Men spoke to the press without Jon Hamm, who was onstage presenting. Diane Kruger and her Inglourious Basterds boys were so excited after their win for Best Ensemble Cast, telling us they texted Brad Pitt to share the good news. Drew Barrymore was likewise thrilled with her latest honour, after picking up a Golden Globe the week before for Grey Gardens.
Jane Lynch lead the cast of Glee, as her costars Dianna Argon, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison and Jessalyn Gilsig clutched their Actor statues. Crazy Heart's Jeff Bridges sweetly brought his wife onto the press room podium to have her answer questions beside him, crediting her with his success and the raising of their three daughters. Mo'Nique was also thankful to her husband in her remarks following her win for Precious, saying that they get their emotions out during special "bathroom talks." Kevin Bacon had nothing but glowing words for his own wife, Kyra Sedgwick, after a visibly emotional acceptance speech onstage. Sandra Bullock stuck with the theme after already thanking her "hot" husband Jesse James, admitting she'd rather attend events for his work any day over awards shows.

The ladies at Sunday night's SAG Awards took many different directions with their looks. A few actresses picked gowns that popped against the red carpet, with Diane Kruger leading the way in a Jason Wu number she said they created together. Anna Kendrick went with a bright purple Alberta Ferretti, while Glee's Lea Michele picked a green Catherine Malandrino. Carey Mulligan didn't end up taking home an Actor trophy for her work in An Education, but she still looked amazing in red Lanvin. Drew Barrymore and Christina Applegate picked different blue tones, in Monique Lhuillier and Roberto Cavalli respectively.
It wasn't all about-eye popping hues, though—the ladies of Nine kept things simple in black and white. Penelope Cruz picked a short number from L'Wren Scott, while Marion Cotillard also showed some leg in Elie Saab. Kate Hudson went long but showed off a lot of back in Pucci with nearly $US2 million in diamonds! Jennifer Carpenter was in another short dress, hers by Paula Ke, to see her husband and Dexter costar, Michael C. Hall, take home an award. Dianna Agron stuck with the white theme in Georges Chakra, though Sandra Bullock went dark in her embellished Alexander McQueen—make sure to let us know what you thought of their looks with Fab and Bella's love it or leave it polls! And stayed tuned, as a few final pieces of SAG Award news, including deets from the press room and the best pics of the night, trickle in.

As award season heads into the home stretch, yesterday's SAG awards were almost a carbon copy of last week's Golden Globes. The two major differences—Toni Collette went hom empty handed and Avatar was nowhere to be found.
Christoph Waltz and Mo'Nique scored trophies once again, as did Michael C. Hall and Glee. Sandra Bullock handily defeated Meryl Streep in the Best Actress category and Inglourious Basterds took home the award for Best Performance By A Cast. Click through to see the full list of winners. Sandra Bullock
hit the red carpet at yesterday's
SAG Awards looking lovely, and she shined on stage when she won the Best Actress statue for her work in
The Blind Side. Sandra gracefully entered the press room to talk about her gratefulness for being rewarded after reevaluating her whole approach toward her work. She said:
- On her latest win: "Being an actor was something I never owned up to, in a way. I could be a hostess or a waitress or a house restorer before I considered myself an actor because I never thought I was good enough. . . to be in a room tonight and be with the women I'm in the company of. . . I feel like I am part of a group I am really proud of. And they take such good care of you in the Screen Actors Guild!"
- On beating Meryl: "It's a fluke, I feel it's wrong if you really want to know the truth. . . My money was on Meryl, and I'll tell her that time and time again. There were exquisite performances this year, but Meryl always manages to top herself."
- On choosing her roles now: "I meant what I said when I said I quit once and wasn't working for two years, and in that time, interestingly enough, I met my husband and was happier at home than I was anywhere else. And it made me even more selective. I learned how to say no."
- On if she has anything on her bucket list: "You know what, there's not one thing I can think of that I haven't done. I do everything, you know I am one of those people who knows how lucky she is. Every day I look around the house and count my blessings."
