The Vanity Fair Oscars party was the place to be after the Academy Awards on Monday, and many of the A-list guests hopped into the photo booth to commemorate the evening. Katie Holmes posed on the red carpet in a strapless Elie Saab gown alongside husband Tom Cruise, then the two headed inside to chat with David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Lily Collins, before snapping a few photos. Sofia Vergara and her man, Nick Loeb, showed love in the booth, as did Seth Rogen with wife Lauren Miller. The year's best in moviemaking was celebrated at the Hollywood & Highland Center, with gorgeous leading ladies like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Chastain, and Penelope Cruz leading the stylish proceedings. Big honours went to The Artist's Jean Dujardin, The Iron Lady's Meryl Streep, and The Help's Octavia Spencer, as well as Beginners star Christopher Plummer, the oldest actor ever to receive an Academy Award. Stars partied the night away inside Elton John's Academy Awards viewing party at West Hollywood Park yesterday. Gwen Stefani mingled with the evening's host Elton and his husband David Furnish, who brought their son Zachary to check out the fun for the first time. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer cosied up between performances by Foster the People, while Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne shared a laugh on the dance floor. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder got in on the charitable action when they auctioned off a vampire bite that fetched $80,000 from the crowd. Katy Perry bid $50,000 on cooking lessons but lost to producer Steve Tisch, though the duo apparently decided to spend $100,000 and split the prize. Models Heidi Klum and Bar Refaeli snapped pictures for Twitter before Bar and Brooklyn Decker switched venues and popped up at Vanity Fair's Oscar bash at Sunset Tower. There were plenty more parties around town, including George Clooney's own event at Craig's that was attended by Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

Cameron Diaz, in orange Victoria Beckham, shared laughs and champagne with pal Kate Hudson, wearing red Versace. Kate arrived on the arm of fiancé Matt Bellamy, while Cameron's rumoured guy, Diddy, also went to the bash. Gwyneth Paltrow said hello to Jane Fonda, while nearby, a girlie crew of Paula Patton, Amy Adams, Claire Danes and Jennifer Westfeldt caught up. Kate Bosworth, who made the rounds in Prabal Gurung, couldn't keep her hands off her boyfriend Michael Polish.

Tom Cruise and an Elie Saab-clad Katie Holmes made the rounds as well. They spent a good chunk of time with their long-time friends Victoria Beckham, in her own design, and David Beckham. Tom and Katie also said hello to a Monique Lhuillier-clad Lily Collins and George Lucas. Love was in the air! Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde watched the Oscars show from the Sunset Tower Hotel, in the company of Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm, Claire Danes and Tom Ford. Sofia Coppola also checked out the telecast with Jason, Olivia and company, and later welcomed her husband Thomas Mars to the fun. Miley Cyrus found a seat to spend quality time with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
