Courtney Love recently gave an interview to The Daily Mail and talked about her and Kurt Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean. It’s hard to know what exactly is fact when it comes to Ms. Love, but Courtney claims that Frances was offered the lead role in both Twilight AND Alice in Wonderland.

There was quite a bit of Aussie love at today’s Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, but the only Australian celeb actually there in person to accept their surfboard trophy was Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski, who picked up the award for Choice TV Actress: Action. Also receiving awards were Sam Worthington, Liam Hemsworth, Mia Wasikowska and Keith Urban (yes, we’re claiming him as Australian). Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe were also nominated, as well as snowboarder Torah Bright.

Proving that there's really no end to award season in Hollywood, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards nominees have been announced! Naturally, the Twilight kids are all over these categories, but New Moon also gets some lofty competition from movies like The Hangover, The Proposal and Avatar. With categories like "Best WTF Moment," "Biggest Badass Star" and "Best Scared-as-S**t Performance," these definitely aren't the Oscars.

He was soon off for an Alice in Wonderland photo call and premiere with Tim Burton, before the film hits Japanese cinemas on April 17. Robert Pattinson made his first post-Twilight movie debut, taking on Alice in Wonderland at the box office this weekend. We'll have to wait to see how the heartthrob fared against the likes of Depp and DiCaprio, but I'm more interested to see what happens when he's pitted against his costar (and real-life love interest) Kristen Stewart. Her movie, The Runaways, will be added to the mix in the US next week, putting the two movies head-to-head.

I've already shared with you my recent chats with Alice in Wonderland stars Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter, along with Alice herself, Mia Wasikowska, but there are two actors who you may not recognise in the film: Matt Lucas and Michael Sheen. In the film, Lucas pulls off the dual role of Tweedledum and Tweedledee, while Sheen (who you'll remember from New Moon) lends his voice to the White Rabbit. I sat down with the boys to chat about the film and the mysterious man that is Tim Burton.

Towards the opening of Alice in Wonderland, a young Alice lays in bed as her father leans in to tell her a secret. She's been having odd dreams about a rabbit in a waistcoat and questions if she's losing her mind. He responds by telling her that crazy people are the most fun.

When you're thrown into the middle of a Tim Burton film—opposite an A-lister like Johnny Depp, no less—it's easy to feel overwhelmed. That's where Aussie up-and-comer Mia Wasikowska found herself when she was cast in one of young Hollywood's most coveted parts: the title role in Alice in Wonderland. We've already heard from stars Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter about the film, but Pop US also recently sat down with Wasikowska to discuss her involvement.
