Making it as a model isn't all about fashion. Big bucks are made in the beauty biz so, in order to be successful, it's just as important that the winner of tonight's Australia's Next Top Model be able to cut it as a beauty ambassador as well as in the fashion world. Many of the show's past winners (and even host Sarah Murdoch) have gone on to score themselves beauty campaigns so tell us who you think has what it takes to be beauty's next poster girl: Liz, Montana or Simone.

BREAKING NEWS

Amanda Ware Dares to Bare as She Puckers Up For ChapStick!

If the whole Sarah Murdoch incorrectly announcing her as runner-up on Australia's Next Top Model debacle didn't make Amanda Ware a household name, her new ads for ChapStick certainly will.

If the whole Sarah Murdoch incorrectly announcing her as runner-up on Australia's Next Top Model debacle didn't make Amanda Ware a household name, her new ads for ChapStick certainly will. The birthday girl — she turns 19 today — will star in the iconic brand's new "Never Let Your Lips Go Naked" campaign, which will see Amanda strip off for a series of saucy shots! It's Amanda's first cosmetics contract and one that she couldn't be happier about:

"I’m excited to work for a brand that I’ve grown up with; I’ve always been a fan of ChapStick. Even at the age of seven I was forever stealing my mum’s strawberry flavour, so it’s a brand I feel comfortable representing."

ChapStick's Brand Manager Kim Wright is equally as happy with the signing, saying: "Amanda is fun, sexy and down to earth, so we know she’ll be the perfect fit for the ChapStick brand." The Gold Coast girl's done good, no? The ads are set to hit next month so you can expect to see a whole lot more of Amanda as of then! What do you think about the signing? Good fit?

Amanda Ware: Portmans' Next Girl On Top

Portmans clearly has a thing for Aussie girls on the up.

Portmans clearly has a thing for Aussie girls on the up. Or more precisely, on the UP — which is the title of the Portmans new in store magazine. Apart from featuring rising star Abbey Lee Kershaw in that sleek NYC campaign shoot, the chain store is also championing the up-and-coming Amanda Ware. The Australia's Next Top Model winner shares page space with ALK, wearing lush Winter looks from the new season's range. Cobweb knits, suede separates, feather-weight peasant blouses and heavy lace skirts make for a textural treat in a mainly neutral palette. Bring on Winter! If this spread is anything to go by, Abbey better watch her back!

Most Shocking TV Moment: Australia’s Next Top Model Fiasco

One of the most shocking moments on reality TV this year had to be Sarah Murdoch announcing the wrong winner of Australia’s Next Top Model.

One of the most shocking moments on reality TV this year had to be Sarah Murdoch announcing the wrong winner of Australia’s Next Top Model. We’d been following the competition all season and knew it was going to be a close call between eventual winner Amanda Ware and Kelsey Martinovich. In the end, everyone was a winner with both girls getting $25,000, a trip to New York and a Harper's BAZAAR cover. Plus the footage went viral and scored the show heaps of publicity. Foxtel suits said they didn’t blame Sarah for the screw-up and production company Granada was the only real casualty in the whole debacle.

Australia's Next Top Model winner Amanda Ware can now add Bonds girl to her CV.

Australia's Next Top Model winner Amanda Ware can now add Bonds girl to her CV. We showed you all the pics from Amanda and Kelsey's Bonds Hipstar tour yesterday, now we're giving you the goss from Amanda on life post-ANTM. We got five minutes with this busy lady to talk her about her international modelling dreams, who she still hangs out with from the model house and what it's like to walk in Sarah Murdoch's footsteps.

We heard you just got back from NYC, how was it? It was an amazing experience. People were really nice, welcoming and happy to sign us. And I saw I saw Coco Rocha at Elite, she’s one of the best!

Are you keen to work overeseas? Yes, absolutely. I would love to go to Europe and the Asian continents. It would be an absolutely amazing experience. Obviously I would love to go anywhere the job takes me.

C'mon spill, what's the best bit about life post-ANTM? The best thing are these amazing opportunities and experiences, like going to New York and of course working with great brands like Bonds.

2010 ARIA Awards Recap: Hits and Misses

This year the ARIA Awards needed to lift their game after poor TV ratings and ticket sales.

This year the ARIA Awards needed to lift their game after poor TV ratings and ticket sales. So they moved the show to Sunday night, held the event at the Sydney Opera House and basically threw a big party—with mixed results. Let’s take a look at the hits and misses from last night:

Hit: Powderfinger opened the show rocking out on the Opera House forecourt. There is no doubt the setting was awesome and was much better than Acer Arena.

Miss: The Opera House forecourt. Yes, the setting is divine, but the whole thing seemed like a big, disjointed party. Not having a formal stage for acceptance speeches made the ceremony feel informal and not very important.

Hit: Sia. Australia’s answer to Bjork. She’s quirky, irreverent and fabulous. And when she accepted her pointy, phallic-shaped ARIA Award, she told her manager David Russell that he could “put it up his bum later.” For more hits and misses, just keep reading. Read more . . .
