Well, this very well might be the strangest romantic comedy couple ever: Cameron Diaz and Benicio Del Toro have signed on for An Ex to Grind, a film adaptation of the novel by Jane 
I actually think this premise sounds cute, but Del Toro? In a rom-com? With Cameron Diaz, no less? I'm sure the guy can be funny, but I can't quite picture him doing the sort of cheeseball humour often required of the genre. One explanation of this surprising choice: he supposedly wanted to do another film with producer Laura Bickford, who also worked with him on Traffic and Che. But needless to say, this is quite a jump from those films. So, what do you make of this career move? Can you see these two as a couple?
