The cast of Mad Men got together last night at The Harvard Club in NYC, where they were celebrated by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The show's leading ladies January Jones, Jessica Paré, and Christina Hendricks all chose different looks for the occasion — who gets your best-dressed vote? Jon Hamm, John Slattery, Vincent Kartheiser, and creator Matthew Weiner were also on hand and got together with their costars for a group photo on the red carpet.

It's been a busy few days for the Mad Men actors, who have been making the press rounds in the Big Apple following the season six premiere of their series earlier this month. John Slattery stopped by CBS This Morning yesterday and joked about how Matthew keeps the cast from leaking new scripts, while January sat down for an interview on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. They'll continue promotions today when they attend a panel at the Paley Center, and we'll be on hand to get the latest.

Some of Hollywood's most notable names gathered at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Saturday for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts's annual award-season tea party. Silver Linings Playbook stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Chris Tucker, along with their director, David O. Russell, walked the red carpet. Hugh Jackman, Tom Hooper, and Amanda Seyfried also posed for pictures outside the party, while their Les Misérables cohort Anne Hathaway chose to make a quiet entrance away from the cameras with her husband, Adam Shulman, by her side. Other stars in attendance included Benedict Cumberbatch, Ben Affleck, Sally Field, and Jon Bon Jovi.

We spotted Bradley Cooper chatting with Hugh Jackman, and he admitted he felt a little starstruck by his fellow actor. After Silver Linings Playbook racked up several statuettes at the Critics' Choice Awards earlier this week, it looks like Bradley is a front-runner at tomorrow's Golden Globes, but when someone at today's soiree asked him how he'd celebrate if he won, he humbly dismissed the possibility as "crazy talk." Stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel last night. Daniel Craig was joined by his Skyfall Bond girls, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, but it was his wife, Rachel Weisz, who he leaned in to kiss before picking up the British artist of the year honor.

Daniel Day-Lewis was also in attendance, and after Steven Spielberg presented him with the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film, he took advantage of his stage time to show off his funny side. Daniel thanked BAFTA with a spoof of Clint Eastwood's conversation with an empty chair at the Republican National Convention. The comical speech was somewhat unexpected from Daniel, who is best known for his serious roles, including Spielberg's Lincoln, which hits theaters next week. The Britannia Awards will be broadcast on BBC America Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. ET as a two-hour special.

William and Kate only invited a few celebrities to their wedding, but they should make up for it on their upcoming trip to Hollywood. Although a spokesperson assured us last month that the trip would be a "working visit" and not an opportunity to meet celebrities, the newlyweds have found a way to mix business with glamour. They'll be hosting a red-carpet event for BAFTA, which makes perfect sense since Prince William is the the president of the British film and TV academy. Here's a look at the latest details for their California adventure, just released today.

  • July 8: The Duke and Duchess will meet entrepreneurs in style at a reception at the Beverly Hilton. Later, they'll mingle with politicians and VIPs at the UK's Consulate General.
  • July 9: The pair and perhaps some in their traveling entourage of seven, which includes a hairdresser, will head up the coast to Santa Barbara, where Prince William will play in a polo match benefiting the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. Kate will be on hand to hand out prizes.

    • Then they'll head back to the Belasco Theater in LA for BAFTA's Brits to Watch gala, to be attended by British television, movie, and theater stars, as well as budding young talent. The couple's private secretary says, "The goal is not to meet celebrities. The goal is to connect young British talent with Hollywood decision makers, the people in the back room who put the deals together." Inside, Prince William will give a speech.

  • July 10: William and Kate will interact with everyday Americans on their third day, visiting LA's Inner-City Arts, which uses art to help homeless children. In the evening, they'll attend a war veterans event a Sony Studios.
