Carey Mulligan may not be starring in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but she's still ready to spring into action—an action movie, that is. The actress is in negotiations for Drive, a thriller starring Ryan Gosling (Bryan Cranston is also in talks). The film follows a Hollywood stuntman (Gosling) who moonlights as a getaway driver during robberies.

Production on the much-anticipated American version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is moving forward—even though the cast hasn't been finalised yet. The film is set to be released on Dec. 21, 2011, and Daniel Craig is the front-runner to play Mikael, but the role of Lisbeth is still up in the air.

Colin Farrell has been everywhere lately, with his recent roles in Crazy Heart and Ondine and upcoming ones in By Virtue Fall and Fright Night. And now there's word that he could tackle Ozzy Osbourne in a biopic about the rocker's life. Farrell could certainly pull off the bad boy rocker vibe, but I can't imagine the boyish-faced actor in the long hair and goth get up of the Black Sabbath legend.

Rumours are flying left, right and centre about who should replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3 after she was dropped from the franchise last week. Yesterday we asked for your thoughts on the angelic Miranda Kerr (among others) stepping into Megan's demin cut-offs as Shia LaBeouf's love interest and today we thought we'd propose a few more actresses. Some faces may look familiar.

The cast of Money Never Sleeps wrapped up their afternoon press obligations and got black-tie ready for their big premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last Friday. Lovebirds Carey Mulligan and Shia LaBeouf kept their distance on the red carpet, as he stuck with Michael Douglas and she posed with Josh Brolin. Despite recent speculation on the state of Josh's marriage, his wife, Diane Lane, was out to support his latest big-screen endeavour.

Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan made the rounds at the Cannes Film Festival Friday for their film Money Never Sleeps. The couple joined their costars Michael Douglas and Josh Brolin, as well as director Oliver Stone for a photo call this morning before another group chat with reporters and video interviews. Conversation for Shia turned from the movie to his personal life and he even opened up about Carey, saying she's "a beautiful woman, a sweetheart .
