The Red Riding Hood star gives a candid interview in the pages of the magazine, opening up about her past relationships with Dominic Cooper and Alexander Skarsgård. The actress, who attended the premiere of her dark new film in LA last night, also talks about what it was like to lock lips with the likes of her Now co-star Justin Timberlake. Here are some highlights:

• On kissing on the silver screen: “I can’t lie. It didn’t suck making out with Channing [Tatum] and Justin [Timberlake].”
• On how Dominic Cooper's previous girlfriend led to their breakup: “I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved. But we weren’t really as involved as I thought. So I got my heart broken pretty hard. After that, it’s really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard.”
• On another famous ex, Alexander Skarsgård: “We dated. He’s superfunny, but I was too involved with Dom.”
• On her reported new love Ryan Phillippe: “Um, yeah. I’ve been ‘seen’ with him.”

January rocked a daring backless dress and wore her hair in a bun as she mingled with the designer, Dominic, and British celebs like Alexa Chung at the intimate event, which raised funds for Central St. Martins. The actress is in the midst of a hiatus from her TV series, Mad Men, but she'll soon kick off a new, film-heavy phase in her career. She co-stars in the upcoming X-Men: First Class, and her thriller Unknown hits the big screen next year.

Just like at the London premiere, co-stars Dominic Cooper and Luke Evans hung out together at the afterparty, and mucked about with Gemma Arterton, who wore a strapless black draped dress. After all the celebrities walked the red carpet at the GQ UK Men of the Year Awards last night, they headed inside for the ceremony. Breakthrough Talent winner Ed Westwick posed with Lily Allen, while Woman of the Year Gemma Arterton cosied up with Nicholas Hoult. Noel Gallagher congratulated Jason Statham on his Editor's Special Award and Damon Albarn posed with Gorillaz's gong for Best Band. Martin Scorsese presented Giorgio Armani with his statue for Designer of the Year. Plenty of couples were celebrating too. International Male Jon Hamm sat with his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, while James Corden got a kiss from his girlfriend as he won the Comedian prize. Daisy Lowe chatted with her ex Mark Ronson and also posed proudly with her new man Matt Smith, who was named Actor of the Year. While, Most Stylish Man Aaron Johnson had Sam Taylor-Wood by his side at the ceremony.

The Tamara Drewe premiere took place in Leicester Square on Monday night. Newlywed Gemma Arterton looked gorgeous in her strapless cream gown with an almost makeup-free face as she signed autographs and was interviewed. She gave co-star Dominic Cooper a big hug as they posed for photos, and later director Stephen Frears had to come out of the cinema to drag him inside so they could start the film. Lily Allen showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet and signed autographs, missing an Elle party to support her producer mum's movie. Lily warmed up in a velvet coat and continued her family fun week after launching her pop-up store with her sister, to pose for photos with her mother. Dominic hung out with his equally gorgeous co-star Luke Evans during the evening. Then, after the screening, the stars all headed off to the afterparty. Gemma changed from her cream frock into a black jumpsuit, and Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick was spotted leaving the party too!
