Victoria Justice is best known for her long-running role as Tori Vega in the Nickelodeon show Victorious, but she makes the jump to big screen lead in Fun Size, out Nov. 29. In the comedy, Victoria stars as Wren, a high schooler who has plans to attend a Halloween party thrown by her crush, but has her night ruined when her mother (Chelsea Handler) says she has to take her brother Albert trick-or-treating so she can attend her own adults-only bash. Things go awry when Wren loses her brother in a haunted house. I caught up with Victoria when she was in Sydney last week to chat about her TV-to-movie transition, whether she got any Gossip Girl scoop from the Fun Size crew (it’s directed by Josh Schwartz and produced by Stephanie Savage) and what she’ll miss most about Victorious when it wraps.

must haves

What's Hot This Month: November New Releases

Ah, November — the month before the holiday blockbusters come out in full force.

Ah, November — the month before the holiday blockbusters come out in full force. As usual, there’s still a great selection of films being released, including two of the most-anticipated movies of the year: Skyfall and Breaking Dawn Part 2 — it feels like we’ve been waiting for these ones for, well, forever. Some film festival favourites have finally made it our way (I’m especially looking forward to Celeste and Jesse Forever) and Aussie fans of Stephen Chbosky’s young adult novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower will be thrilled to know that its adaptation is coming out this month. Step inside for your guide to the movies for November!
