The stars were all over town last night taking in all the Oscars mania, especially at the Weinstein Company's huge parties! The new Soho House in West Hollywood and the Chateau Marmont were both brimming with celebrities for the Weinsten's charity events for UNICEF. Nicole Richie looked fantastic in blue out with Joel, who is the official DJ of tonight's show. Carey Mulligan says she's savouring these final days of award season, but is also ready for it to be over. Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger stuck with short, sweet and colorful despite the dreary weather and we're especially excited to see what the sexy Inglourious Basterds star wears for the Academy Awards red carpet.
Diane and Joshua Jackson also stopped by the Chanel and Charles Finch dinner, giving us high hopes that he'll be with her today. First-time nominees Gabourey Sidibe and Christoph Waltz laughed together after seeing each other at all of the events over the past few months. Alexander Skarsgard signed autographs, while Gwen Stefani posed with Nicole and Joel. There are only a few hours left before the red carpet starts, so keep checking back all day long!

Gwen Stefani braved the snow and ice to present her collection for L.A.M.B. during New York Fashion Week. Kingston Rossdale was back in LA enjoying a playdate with his nanny and Ruby Maguire, but Zuma was right there in his leather jacket with Gwen, getting a little attention from his mum's hair and makeup team. We were able to catch up with Gwen before the show started, with her opening up about the loss of Alexander McQueen, her design aspirations, and favourite trends—check out what she had to say! Gwen also told us about how Gavin is a big fan of her iconic red lips and that she was impressed to pull things together despite the challenges of, "A blizzard, a baby with an ear infection, what else . . . Chinese New Year and let's see, Federal Express!"

We had a chance to catch up with Gwen Stefani this morning before her L.A.M.B. presentation during New York Fashion Week—for more from the runway, my girls Fab and Bella have all the news. Gwen took a brief moment to touch on the loss of Alexander McQueen, who passed away in London last night at the age of 40. Some of his close friends like Kate Moss have expressed their sadness over his death, as we look back at his amazing runway and beauty moments. Gwen, meanwhile, had this to say:
"To me, from my perspective, he was a genius. I never got to meet him, I never got to go to any of his shows. . . He's given me a few pieces that I wore one time to the Grammys and these leather boots that come up to here [mid-thigh]. I have a couple pieces of his, he was so generous. It's so devastating, I think people are going to feel it for a long time. It's devastating."
The stars of
Sherlock Holmes were in London today for their very first premiere. While Rachel McAdams glammed up for the screening, her two leading men, Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., joked together, showing off their Sherlock and Dr. Watson routine for photographers. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale turned out to lend their support to their friend Guy Ritchie's latest directorial efforts, with Guy himself posing for photos solo. The stars are soon to cross the Atlantic again, since they're due for another event in NYC on Thursday, before the film hits theatres on Boxing Day.

Gwen Stefani wasn't about to let the winter weather get in the way of wearing one of
her favourite neon bras to the Berkeley Square Christmas Ball in London last night. She paired her see-through top with a pair of shorts for the indoor event, where husband Gavin Rossdale stayed close by her side. The duo is spending some quality time with sons Kingston and Zuma in England, as they gear up for the holidays. Their family recently celebrated Thanksgiving with Gwen's family back home in LA and now it's time to do a little visiting with the Rossdale clan in the UK.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren't the only stars who headed out for the MOCA 30th Anniversary Gala in LA on Saturday night. The Jolie-Pitts skipped the red carpet, but there was more than enough star power even without the A-List couple. Kate Bosworth, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba showed some leg in shorter dresses while Rachel Zoe and Kate Beckinsale stuck with their floor-skimming looks. The event looks like it was a huge success, with at least one happy attendee — Rachel Zoe twittered about how much she loved the mixing of art and fashion worlds.
To see tons more from the event including Nicky Hilton, Christina Ricci, Zoe Saldana, Pharrell Williams and others just read more.
