Nicole Richie set the pace with her first official appearance since she took a trip down fringe lane (hubby Joel Madden didn't notice — ah, men), while Kate Middleton mixed things up with wavier hair than usual (not to mention that pregnancy glow). But it wasn't all about hair. Isla Fisher totally stole the show at The Great Gatsby world premiere, thanks to her bright red lips and cats-eye liner — see that look and more when you click through!

Eva Longoria donned a short white dress to celebrate the launch of Ferragamo's L'Icona line in honour of the 35th anniversary of the brand's iconic shoe line, Vara, last night at The McKittrick Hotel in NYC. She paired up with James Ferragamo for the festivities, which were also attended by Nicky Hilton, Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge, and more. The shoe celebrations were a family affair for Nicky, who was flanked by her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, while Lily got to link up with her model pal Jessica Hart.

Eva may have been celebrating more than just her designer friend last night. It was announced yesterday that Eva will star in a new sitcom, Mother Up! The series will be a part of Hulu's new original programming content that also features an animated series from Seth Meyers. The new project comes at just the right time for Eva, after the cancellation of Ready For Love, which she produced for NBC. It's not all over for Eva's series, though, since the unaired episodes will finish their run online.

Victoria's Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge linked up for a Valentine's Day event at the Herald Square store in NYC yesterday. The girls showed off the line's new bra and fragrance in honour of the upcoming holiday. We caught up with Lily at the event to find out how she is preparing for Valentine's Day, and she revealed that she likes to "make a little extra effort and wear a sexier fragrance." She went on to explain that the holiday, to her, is about "having fun and feeling good about yourself." Lily also let us in on her plans for a special Valentine's Day — her first as a mum — saying, "It's very exciting, I am going to be in Nashville with my husband and my daughter, and we have a date planned. I am very excited for it."

We also caught up with Candice at the event, who revealed that she will be spending her Valentine's Day on holiday. She shared her excitement about her upcoming trip, saying, "I will be in Brazil enjoying the sun and the beach. I feel sexiest on the beach." The Valentine's Day promotion was just Candice's latest Victoria's Secret obligation. Last week, Candice wore a collection of bikinis for a sexy shoot in St. Barts. Candice was able to sneak in a bit of fun in between work events. She was one of the many celebrities watching the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Monday.

Miranda Kerr showed off some sexy Victoria's Secret gear at the re-opening of NYC's flagship Herald Square store yesterday. She posed with fellow Angels Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima at the special event timed to kick off the holidays. The ladies of Victoria's Secret were reunited after strutting their stuff on the runway earlier this month at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will air on Dec. 9 on FOX8. We caught up with Miranda to chat about where she will watch the big show and her holiday plans, which include spending lots of quality time with husband Orlando Bloom and their adorable baby boy, Flynn. Here is more from Miranda:

• On her plans for watching this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: "I am pretty sure I will be in LA for the show and I know we will be together — the Angels. A few of us girls always get together and watch the show."
• On where she will spend the holidays: "Well this past year I have been in New Zealand so much with Orlando. We've been in South Africa together because he has been filming there, and we've also been in Australia together. And then I have been in Asia too, so to be honest, I have not spent that much time in New York. I arrived right before the show. I came here to do the show and Orlando is still filming in South Africa, but I am going to see him really soon when he finishes up."
• On her holiday traditions: "No matter where we are, we like to cook. I love to cook around Christmas time and be in the kitchen because I am not working. When I have the time to cook, I really enjoy it. We have a lot of people over, friends and family, and it's just about spending quality time together really."
• On staying fit during the holidays: "We love going for family walks together or hiking if we are in LA. If we are in London, we'll take walks. It's something we enjoy doing together as a family. Flynn loves being outside. I also love doing yoga and Flynn does yoga with me on the floor because he has seen it so much. I like to keep my exercise regime at home if I can. Sometimes I'll even hold him and he'll hold onto me like a little koala bear, and I'll do squats."

There were a few events that registered on our style radar this week, and none more so than the annual fashion festival that is the Melbourne Cup. The race that stops the nation halted all activity in the Sugar office as we waited to see who nailed their looks — luckily, it was worth the wait. Visiting English actress Ashley Madekwe was fresh as a daisy in her Aussie-designed dress, and Rose Byrne earned her way into our Top 10 with a gorgeous Alex Perry-meets-Chanel ensemble.
But it wasn't all about the races — Miranda Kerr stepped out onto the streets of NYC in an outfit that the world is kind of obsessed by (wait 'til you see who made those boots!) and Jessica Alba had her very own princess moment in a frothy tulle confection.
