Their appearance had been rumoured for weeks and photos of the girls rehearsing over the weekend confirmed they’d be among the line-up of celebrated British music acts. Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Chrisholm (Sporty Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) arrived in taxis bearing the number plate ‘SPICE’ and first sang their memorable hit “Wannabe.” Then they launched into “Spice Up Your Life” as they rode atop the taxis around the stadium.
