2010 Melbourne Cup: Jennifer Hawkins

Spotted! Jennifer Hawkins was doing her duties at the Myer Marquee today, ears and all.

Spotted! Jennifer Hawkins was doing her duties at the Myer Marquee today, ears and all. Looks like Hawko is a keen Fab reader as she chose the on-trend orange hue for her wrap style Nina Maya dress. Now, as Jennifer's the face (and body) of Myer, we're surprised THIS is the frock she chose on the day which is the BIGGEST excuse to frock up all year! It's nice 'n' all but geez Jen, couldn't you have picked something a bit more, well, fantastic ? That dress looks more suited to a summer barbie than a day hosting a marquee at Melbourne Cup! The ears are cute, we'll give you that, and even the heels add some interest. But that bag has got to GO. You're usually a cutie Jen so we'll let this one pass, but please next year will you put some effort in for us? What are your thoughts? Are you as disappointed as us? Or do you love Jen's look?

2010 Melbourne Cup: Brynne Gordon-Edelsten

Oh Brynee! How you make us smile.

Oh Brynee! How you make us smile. Looking perfectly suited to a day in The Birdcage at Flemington today, she revealed to the Sydney Morning Herald that she made her towering peacock inspired headpiece herself. Brynne apparently spent the early hours of this morning gluing individual feathers to her colourful fascinator, which perfectly matched her Las Vegas bought frock. While we're not a huge fan of the head wear Brynne, we have to give you props for ingenuity, talk about thrifty! What's your call on Brynne's colourful ensemble? Is she a crafty pasty, or does DIY give you the heebie jeebies?

2010 Melbourne Cup: Sonia Kruger

A firm fixture on the racing scene, we're always intrigued to see what Sonia Kruger wears come Melbourne Cup.

A firm fixture on the racing scene, we're always intrigued to see what Sonia Kruger wears come Melbourne Cup. Saturday's Derby Day saw Sonia don a demure black lace dress — but she's upped the sexy-factor today with this shorter, ruched style. By adding standout wrap style stilettos from Wayne by Wayne Cooper, and a bejewelled fascinator she let the LWD do the talkin'. What's your take? Has Sonia out-sexed herself for a day at the races? Or do you love her fun frock?

Liam Hemsworth Brings a Date to Melbourne Cup—His Mum!

Liam Hemsworth hit the headlines after posing with a girl who wasn’t Miley Cyrus over the weekend at Derby Day.

Liam Hemsworth hit the headlines after posing with a girl who wasn’t Miley Cyrus over the weekend at Derby Day. He’s at Melbourne Cup today and played things safe by bringing his mum. Good thinking. Liam was photographed with teacher and sometime model Yolanda Vendy, who hinted that the two might be more than just good mates. Liam won’t comment on the status of his relationship with Miley or Yolanda, but we’re guessing the girls in the Emirates marquee might be trying their luck with the handsome stud!

2010 Melbourne Cup: Rebecca Twigley

Myer Racing Ambassador Rebecca Twigley sure knows how to turn a head, or ten!

Myer Racing Ambassador Rebecca Twigley sure knows how to turn a head, or ten! Showing up first on our radar for today's Melbourne Cup, we j'adore this dove grey, one shouldered Toni Maticevski frock on her. Pale and pretty, that ruffled trim and gathered hem makes it somethin' else! Foregoing a fascinator in favour of a wider brimmed head piece, we think the hat's a far better accessory than Myer colleague Kris Smith. Rebecca's got just the right amount of My Fair Lady for us, but what do you think? Does Rebecca's delicate look rock your boat, or does it leave you cold?
