It's been a massive week for celebs, with numerous different events meaning everyone who's anyone was out and about. It was a week of musical resurgence, what with two of our all-time favourite music makers — Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake — getting back behind the microphone for the Super Bowl. In Australia, Miranda Kerr came back and stormed the catwalk for David Jones at the launch of their 2013 Autumn/Winter collections, and Michael and Kyly Clarke showed the world that marriage is working very well for them as they celebrated the Allan Border Medal. Michael Clarke received Australian cricket’s highest individual prize when he was honoured with the Allan Border Medal for the fourth time last night. Following in the footsteps of Ricky Ponting, Michael is the only other cricketer to have won the Allan Border Medal four times. The Australian captain said in his emotional acceptance speech, “Tonight's probably the only night through the year that you get to reflect on what's been a great 12 months for the boys from the Australian cricket team. Reflecting on Ricky and Michael Hussey's retirements, to see Glenn McGrath . . . it's a build-up of a lot of things to be honest. But it's unlike me and hopefully you never get to see that again.” By his side through the whole event was his wife, Kyly Clarke, who wowed on the red carpet in a white J’Aton gown with sexy cut-out details. Inside the Crown Palladium the couple got cute and shared kisses and hugs throughout the night. Before the ceremony started Kyly was also snapped in a candid moment fixing Michael’s tie. There was plenty of red carpet style on show last night when Australian cricketers and their partners attended the 2013 Allan Border Medal at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne. Michael Clarke may have been the man of the moment, winning his fourth Allan Border Medal, which is Australian cricket’s top individual prize, but in the style stakes all eyes were on his wife, Kyly Clarke, who made her entrance in a striking white J’Aton gown with cut-outs and a gold belt, adding colour via a bold red lip. Also dressed in J’Aton was Rebecca Judd, who wowed in a heavily embellished and netted creation from the Melbourne design duo. Pregnant Lee Watson (née Furlong), who is eight months along, dressed her baby bump in Johanna Johnson, Ricky Ponting’s wife Rianna chose Steven Khalil with Cerrone jewellery for the occasion, and Sara McGrath kept things simple in red on the arm of her husband Glenn, who won the first ever Allan Border Medal. A big congratulations goes out to Kyly Boldy and Michael Clarke, who married in secret in the Blue Mountains on Tuesday. Talk about secret squirrel — we didn't even know they were engaged! The model-cum-brand ambassador married the Australian cricket captain in front of a small gathering of friends and family. Now, to the important stuff; the dress! Alex Perry designed the glamorous gown, which apparently took over 140 hours of hand-beading to embellish with Swarovski crystals, and used 150 metres of satin backed silk organza for the full, tiered skirt and long train. Perry said, "Kyly was involved in every step of the process and design specifications and although it was sometimes very hard to keep the dress from prying eyes we couldn't be happier for them — she looks like a fairytale princess." Michael Clarke and Kyly Boldy got married on Tuesday in the Blue Mountains! The cricketer shared his happy surprise news on Twitter yesterday, writing, “Happiest guy in the world. Married @KylyBoldy yesterday in front of our gorgeous families. Couldn’t be happier!” and also posted some photos of his stunning bride. Kyly, who wore a stunning Alex Perry dress, also tweeted, “Luckiest Woman in the world! Married @MClarke23 on the 15th of May 2012. Greatest day of my life, so proud to be your Wife.” Shane Warne was among the select group of guests at the nuptials.

Michael and Kyly’s wedding announcement comes after a few years of dating but no public knowledge of an engagement. Congrats to the happy couple!
