The final season of The Hills will cover Heidi Montag's plastic surgery and other stories that are more close to reality, Eva Longoria Parker sends friends to a porn site on accident, and Joe Jonas sings with his girlfriend on American Idol.
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore kicked off their Oscar weekend in LA last night at the Hollywood Domino and Artists for Peace and Justice charity event. Fresh off his trip to Russia, Ashton escorted Demi down the red carpet and while the two won't be at Sunday's show, she and Madonna are once again hosting their 3rd annual Oscar party. AnnaLynne McCord was also in attendance but, unlike Demi, she didn't have a date to the party, although we did see her sharing a romantic dinner with Twilight's Kellan Lutz earlier this week. Rachel Zoe has a marathon weekend ahead of her as we continue to count down to the Oscars; she's styled many winners and presenters in the past.
The Fashion Week fun continues in NYC, with Sarah Jessica Parker heading out last night to take in the Halston show. It's her first presentation since being named Chief Creative Officer of the brand last month, and she had nothing but praise for their designer Marios Schwab. "We are really proud of him," she said. "It's not as if I had anything to do with it but I know that the birthing process is really hard." Marc Jacobs, meanwhile, put on a less star-studded event than usual, though his fiance Lorenzo Martone took a break from planning their wedding later this year to celebrate at the staff-only after-party with Rachel Zoe. It was a starlet convention at Jill Stuart, with Jessica Szohr, Michelle Trachtenberg and Mena Suvari in the front row. AnnaLynne McCord made a cameo there, after she was mum about being in the same city as rumoured boyfriend Kellan Lutz. Both Fab and Bella have all the deets from the Big Apple, so stay tuned for updates on all the action!
Penelope Cruz and Kate Bosworth put on their party dresses last night for Calvin Klein's bash celebrating the start of the Art Los Angeles Contemporary fair. It's been a busy week for Penelope since her appearance at Saturday's SAG Awards—she brought Javier along to a Haiti benefit and apparently both of them personally committed to donating $50,000 a year for five years to the organization Artists for Peace & Justice. Penelope was able to enjoy a lighter evening with her friends yesterday, as did Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish, who definitely didn't look like they were on the rocks. Kellan Lutz was suited up to mingle with the crowd, striking a few adorable poses for the cameras. Peter Facinelli joined Kellan in representing the Twilight crowd, though their fellow Cullen, Robert Pattinson, is currently off gearing up to promote Remember Me. Peter found a moment to catch up with Chris Klein, who had another close call with an ex since Ginnifer Goodwin was also there with her new guy, Joey Kern. Jordana Brewster looked gorgeous as usual in her textured white gown, while Ali Larter stuck close by her husband Hayes MacArthur.
Nicole Kidman and her pal Naomi Watts were together last night in NYC for the "Important Dinner for Women" at Cipriani's. They were joined by famous faces like Wendi Murdoch and Liya Kebede for the event, which followed a day of meetings at the UN about issues affecting women of the world. The meal was hosted by Queen Rania of Jordan, who mingled with other celebs like Jessica Alba, Naomi Campbell, and Veronica Webb. The ladies' charitable work isn't the only important event going on in the Big Apple presently — Matt Damon joined Bill Clinton at the former president's conference, where Brad Pitt is expected later today.
