2013 Logies: Jennifer Hawkins

Jennifer Hawkins is no stranger to the red carpet, and her confidence is showing in this understated but striking sequinned gown by Jayson Brunsdon.

Jennifer Hawkins is no stranger to the red carpet, and her confidence is showing in this understated but striking sequinned gown by Jayson Brunsdon. A high, spliced neckline creates drama and the all-over jet-black beading ensures she will shine under the paparazzi's flashbulbs. A tassle-adorned Louis Vuitton 3-D clutch and Cerrone bracelet and ring set add a final touch of glamour. What a way for the local designer to celebrate his tenth anniversary in the industry, just prior to his S/S colletion unveiling at Mercedes Benz fashion week this Tuesday. Now, back to Jen! Do you rate her glam-a-rama Logies look?

Myer Autumn Winter 2013 Collection: See The Full Runway

Last night Myer launched their 2013 Autumn/Winter collection at Mural Hall in Melbourne in front of Australia's most stylish crowd — and the looks that came down the runway on the likes of Jennifer Hawkins and Alexandra Agoston didn't disappoint!

Last night Myer launched their 2013 Autumn/Winter collection at Mural Hall in Melbourne in front of Australia's most stylish crowd — and the looks that came down the runway on the likes of Jennifer Hawkins and Alexandra Agoston didn't disappoint! Australia's golden girl Jen worked her magic on the catwalk in plenty of showstopping gowns from some of Myer's big-name designers; She opened in a black leather Toni Maticevski dress, shimmered in a golden number by Manning Cartell and then closed the show in a sass & bide — and all of it was accentuated by a dramatic '60s makeup look. As always, the show was a key indication of some of the trends we'll be seeing this season, and let it be known: we won't be doing things by halves! From leather and rough textures to lace, epaulettes, rhinestones and leopard print, it's all bold and sexy, with a strong lean towards edgy femininity. We've got the runway pics here, so check it out!

Jennifer Hawkins Returns to the Myer Runway in Top Form

Jennifer Hawkins strutted down the runway at Myer’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection launch at Mural Hall in Melbourne last night.

Jennifer Hawkins strutted down the runway at Myer’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection launch at Mural Hall in Melbourne last night. She kicked off her roster of looks in a black leather Toni Maticevski and returned in more Australian designs from the likes of Nicola Finetti, Manning Cartell, Arthur Galan AG and Charlie Brown. She closed the show in a look from sass & bide.

Last night marked Jennifer’s 13th time modelling in Myer’s show. She usually sticks to a strict pre-show program to get her figure in shape but her duties on Australia’s Next Top Model meant her routine was different this time around. She told the Daily Telegraph, “I'm eating extremely healthily because I just can't get sick, and that means no vices too. Because I haven't been exercising every day, I've had to step it up, so I'll go for a long run and make it a really hard one.” Jen's next priority is her wedding with Jake Wall.

Jennifer Hawkins led a bevy of beauties down the runway at last night's Myer Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection Launch at Mural Hall in Melbourne. Alexandra Agoston, Louise Van de Vorst and Alice Burdeau were among the models to join Jennifer in showcasing the latest and greatest Winter wares available now at the department store.

The makeup look for the evening's event was all about the "Flirty Sixties Flick", created by Natasha Severino, Yves Saint Laurent Australian Make-up Associate. "The makeup inspiration for Myer Autumn/Winter 2013 came from the subtle influence of the '60s seen throughout 'The Edits'. Peplum skirts, Winter florals and leather silhouettes all play homage to the swinging '60s," says Natasha.

"The black eyeliner is prominent over the entire lid and is very matte in texture, juxtaposing the luminous, polished, dewy skin. Brows are sculpted and groomed, whilst cheeks are softly flushed and dewy. A barely there mouth elegantly finishes this modern, wearable look."

Bella Review: Ck One Color 3-in-1 Face Makeup

Toss aside that glossy magazine you're fawning over — that flawless skin that seems so far out of reach has been bottled up and made available to the masses.

Toss aside that glossy magazine you're fawning over — that flawless skin that seems so far out of reach has been bottled up and made available to the masses. Ck One Color's 3-in-1 Face Makeup ($55) has all four of the components you need for awe-inducing skin rolled into one: a serum, a primer, face makeup, and SPF. No first step needed. The lightweight, oil-free makeup smooths onto your skin in a thin layer and can be spread about like a moisturiser. But instead of the barely there coverage you get with a tinted moisturiser, Ck One's makeup gets into the nooks and crannies, covering everything from blemishes to dark spots. It's like giving yourself a mini facial every morning. And with eight different shades that you can be blend to match your skin tone, you'll be ready for your close-up in no time.

Editors' Picks: Best Ever Underwear Buys

For some fashion purchases you really have to rely on word of mouth.

For some fashion purchases you really have to rely on word of mouth. There's nothing like getting a hot-tip from a friend about the comfiest ballet flats on the market, or a heads-up on the swimwear label that does the most flatteringly-cut bikini briefs. It's this insider intell that we a) love hearing about (email us!), and b) want to share with you. I asked our editorial team for their best-of-the-best underwear finds. From the seamless knickers that really don't show to the sucky-in-y undergarments that make a difference, we're spilling our most intimate (apparel) secrets.
