One Direction

The lead up to the Oscars (the show's on tomorrow!) is always a busy time for celebrities, and it seems like this week has been one of the most hectic yet! Between the Brit Awards on Wednesday night, a few movie premieres and screenings and a lot of pre-Oscars parties, we had a lot to keep up with! Miranda Kerr and her husband Orlando Bloom put an affectionate end to rumours about marriage problems, while another Aussie, Chris Hemsworth, brought his young family to Sydney for a quick work-related trip. Kate Middleton stepped out on royal duty, with a very special bump on board, and Rihanna celebrated her birthday with on-again boyfriend Chris Brown. The 2013 Brit Awards took place at London's O2 Arena today, and some of music's favourite stars took over the stage. Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake were two of the celebrities seen walking the Brit Awards red carpet, before taking the microphone for their performances. Taylor doubled up on her stage attire with an elegant white look and a revealing black ensemble, while Justin was appropriately dressed in a suit and tie for his song. Mumford & Sons, Adele, Frank Ocean and Lana Del Rey were in attendance as well and were also among the big winners.

Some of music's biggest stars got dressed up to hit the red carpet for the Brit Awards at London's O2 Arena today. Taylor Swift and her rumoured new love Harry Styles spent their Sunday afternoon at the Central Park Zoo in NYC. Taylor, fresh off a trip to Sydney for the ARIAs, and Harry spent one-on-one time together, but the twosome also showed their friends' baby the animals. Taylor and Harry, who seem to be nurturing their romance, looked adorable with the little girl. Taylor made the quick trip east, following her performance at the KISS Jingle Ball on Saturday night. Harry, who is 18, is still a younger man for 22-year-old Taylor, though being international superstars means they surely have a lot in common. Taylor's album Red is still selling well, as Harry's band One Direction prepares to take on Madison Square Garden this week. Whatever happens with the two hot young stars, we know where Taylor will be when she rings in 2013. Taylor is set to perform at New Year's Rockin' Eve in New York — though perhaps Harry and his fellow One Direction members will also be in the Big Apple for the event.

Well, we were treated to visits from Hollywood heavyweight Benicio Del Toro and actress/style icon Kate Bosworth — one hit Melbourne, while the other stormed Sydney — for two very different reasons.
