Las Vegas got a megadose of star power during Saturday night's iHeartRadio Music Festival. Rihanna, No Doubt and Lil Wayne kept the crowd on their feet during the first night of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, and then on Saturday night, Taylor Swift, Pink, Enrique Iglesias and more were given the same task. The evening got started with a high-energy set from Pink, who performed acrobatic stunts and belted out hits like "Raise Your Glass," "Just Like a Pill," and her latest single, "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)."

Taylor Swift brought an element of sparkle to the show, stepping out in a sequin top and later changing into an equally glittery dress. She sang her chart-topping hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and broke out her guitar for fan favorites "You Belong With Me" and "Mean." There were also a ton of surprises sprinkled throughout the four-hour block of music. The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev introduced Taylor while Prince joined Mary J. Blige for a duet. Country star Brad Paisley, rapper Pitbull, and Aerosmith also joined in the fun and put on wild shows for the crowd.

Stars came out to attend Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton in LA last night despite the tragic news of Whitney Houston's death yesterday afternoon. Clive, who started Whitney's career and remained close to the singer, asked that guests observe a moment of silence for Whitney during the event and shared, "She loved music and loved this night that celebrated music. Whitney would have asked that the music go on. And her family said the show should go on." Clive was just one of many celebrities who commented on Whitney's death yesterday, including Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey.

Britney Spears and her fiancé, Jason Trawick, got the annual celebration going, as did Kim Kardashian and Richard Branson, who was honoured at the gala. Jennifer Lopez, Diana Ross, Tom Hanks and others walked the carpet while Diddy, Miranda Lambert, Alicia Keys, and more took the stage during the event. The musical fun is just getting started since the main event, the Grammy Awards, will take place later today with Jennifer Hudson expected to sing a tribute to Whitney.

The American Music Awards were jam-packed with flashy performances after a daring red carpet for the women and leather-loving guys.

The American Music Awards were jam-packed with flashy performances after a daring red carpet for the women and leather-loving guys. Rihanna opened the night sporting a bikini ensemble for her three-song medley. Her good friend Katy Perry had her own moment in the spotlight wearing a skintight red bodysuit after ripping off her skirt, while pregnant Pink put on a lively show, though the mum-to-be kept the acrobatics to a minimum. Taylor Swift changed from her sparkly mini into an all-black skinny pants and blazer ensemble for her dramatic "Back to December/Apologize" mashup. Taylor was one of the evening's big winners, so check out the whole list here. Christina Aguilera also performed the number "Express" from her upcoming movie Burlesque. Justin Bieber shared his triumphant times with mentor Usher, and the two also both took the stage to showcase their hits. Miley Cyrus was on her own after apparently backing out of a duet with Bret Michaels. Instead she wowed in a Marchesa minidress featuring a giant bow before her 18th birthday, which is today! Jessica Alba kicked off her Little Fockers promotional kick as a presenter with a very slick-backed do. The event ended with an exciting trip down memory lane when NKOTB and Backstreet Boys took on their greatest hits. Check out the rest of our AMAs coverage here!
