This morning we got our first look at the hotly anticipated April W Magazine cover featuring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. The spread was photographed by Stephen Klein, who was also responsible for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's infamous shoot in 2005. Both twosomes look amazing, but in totally different ways. So tell us, between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 2005 and Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler in 2010—which do you prefer?
In their new movie The Runaways, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart play Cherie Currie and Joan Jett, and the band perform the song "Cherry Bomb". The music video has been released, so check out their vocal efforts and tell us what you think—will you spin it or sling it?
The brand new 10-second teaser for Eclipse is out! Which means, we finally get to see Edward, Bella and Jacob back in action for the third installment in the Twilight saga. Check out the tiny peek below and let us know what you think of it—amazing or anticlimactic?
Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams filmed a backstage interview for an Oprah special after presenting together at Monday's Oscars. Jake carried Rachel's clutch like a gentleman, as they joked about tripping each other. Jake was apparently even playfully introducing her as "the mother of my child" to friends. The Internet has been buzzing about how cute they would be as a couple just based on a few minutes of airtime. So what do you think, would Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams make the ideal couple or is everyone totally dreaming?
The rough patch between Michael Clarke and fiancée Lara Bingle has officially hit heavy turbulence. Everyone needs to get in the brace position and the air masks have already deployed from the ceiling. According to sources from Team Clarke, he is “confused and lost” and ready to call off his two-year engagement. He flew into Sydney yesterday morning after leaving the Australian cricket team’s tour of New Zealand to sort out their relationship.
Meanwhile, over at Team Bingle, sources say that she is resigned to the fact that Clarke will ask her to move out of their $6 million Bondi Beach pad. She was spotted on the balcony looking dishevelled and upset yesterday and flipped the media crews the bird. Noice. Honey, you are the most hated woman in Australia at the moment. That isn't helping the situation.
Although Clark flew home to support her through the Brendan Fevola nude photo scandal, the two spent some time apart and Lara was seen returning home with a girlfriend in a black Mercedes just before 10 pm. The photo scandal was apparently the last straw and her decision to sell her side of the story for $200,000 is believed to have tipped Clarke over the edge. Do you think Lara and Michael are going to make it through this rough patch or is it all over red rover?
Sam Worthington was the only high profile Aussie attending the Oscars and now he’s copped a bashing for chewing gum while presenting an Academy Award. TheAvatar star and Jennifer Lopez took to the stage to present the award for Best Original Score. Jennifer had on a gorgeous Armani Privé gown, while Sam rocked up wearing $20 Payless Shoes and a “kickarse suit.” While Jen was rattling off the nominees, Sam was chomping away like a cow in the paddock and now he's been slammed in the press. But what do you think? Is chewing gum at the Oscars REALLY such a big deal?
Ryan Gosling has proven he's got a goofy side in interviews (and, OK, maybe on The Mickey Mouse Club), but on the big screen we usually see a more serious side to the actor. Don't get me wrong—Gosling's chops make him a welcome addition and treat to watch in any movie, but I'm particularly psyched that he's going in a new direction in his upcoming project. Gosling will be starring opposite Steve Carell, playing the "suave" best friend in a comedy about a father (Carell) in the midst of marital and family woes.
The snarky sidekick often gets the most laughs, so I can't wait to see Gosling making wisecracks and trying to offer advice to Carell. Plus, the word "suave" implies a certain degree of smoothness and a tiny bit of arrogance, which I can see Gosling having a lot of fun with. What's your take—are you excited to see Gosling tackle a comedy for the first time?
We’ve been so obsessed with Oscar festivities that we’ve barely been monitoring the latest Lara Bingle drama. Apparently girlfriend has had a meltdown and Michael Clarke has quit the Aussie team’s tour of New Zealand to be by Lara’s side amid the fallout from her nude photo scandal. He’s taking a break to deal with his messy personal life and it’s not known when he will return to the team. Oh, dear. It’s a photo of someone in the shower, people. Everyone and their dog has a sex tape these days and this is just a photo. Chicks go topless on Bondi Beach everyday. Does he really need to drop everything and come home and hold her hand? What do you think about the latest drama?
On last night's episode of Mad Men, we got a closer look into Peggy Olson's pysche. She's determined to get respect from the guys at Sterling Cooper, but still envies the attention that comes with being a damsel in distress. Peggy's been known to let her emotions get the best of her in the past and I'm a little worried about the level of her relationship with Don. That said, I'm glad that she's getting more attention this season after taking a backseat last year. What about you—are you excited to see more of Peggy? Photo courtesy of AMC
I think double speeches are a good idea—no one wants to be cut off by the dreaded music and it may actually speed things up. And though I know the song performance elimination will help move the show along faster, I'll admit I'm a little disappointed I won't get to watch Jeff Bridges perform "The Weary Kind."
As a viewer, do you think changes like this will improve the show and make it more entertaining?
