Emmy Rossum is having a pretty stylish run this week. First she gave us an adorable Rebecca Taylor look while singing the national anthem in New York. Then she went ultra-ladylike in a fit-and-flare dress by Temperley London for a Broadway premiere. And yesterday, she channelled her inner flapper girl in a fringed, metallic Naeem Khan dress at an NYC charity event. Consider this her Week in Chic, in motion!

Most Wanted: Gwyneth Paltrow's Luxe Leather Dress
Trust Gwyneth Paltrow to motivate a new addition to our leather wardrobe. Sure, we've already invested in a pair of pants, have dabbled with shorts and may even own a skater-skirt (or two) in this luxe fabrication, but a chic shift is now topping our must-have list thanks to GP's latest outing. Gwyneth stepped out as the face of Hugo Boss' fragrance Boss Nuit Pour Femme, in Madrid just last night, wearing this very slick leather shift dress by the German designer (but of course). She tempered the tough moto-vibe with a pair of dainty Jimmy Choo bow-topped pumps and a delicate bejewelled bracelet. We liked her look so much we went shopping to find similar. Like it too? The look: Windswept hair, metallic nails, and bronzed cheeks
The inspiration: A long road trip vacation

Lea Michele Shows Serious Skin in Her White Dress
Lea Michele turned up the heat in a sleek LWD for the taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. The Glee star arrived wearing a metallic blazer and miniskirt combo, but slipped into something a whole lot sexier for the show, choosing this Amen frock with a low neckline and side cut-outs. Lea snagged the 14 spot on Maxim's Hot 100 list, and even beat out Kristen Stewart who came in at 15. Watch today's FabFlash to see Lea's sexy style.
Kate Middleton Shows Off Two Brilliant Peplum Looks — See Every Fashion Angle
Just days before celebrating her wedding anniversary with Prince William, Kate Middleton showed off her trending nous, wearing not one, but two brilliant peplum looks. Yesterday, we spotted Kate in a dove grey peplum dress adorned with gorgeous embellishments by Matthew Williamson, paired with dark green suede pumps and a matching clutch at the UK premiere of African Cats. Kate then switched out of her fancy dress for a prim two-piece tweed suit by Rebecca Taylor for a royal reception at the Goldsmiths Hall in London honoring the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race to the South Pole. We love how anyone can wear this look just as easily to the office. Meanwhile, blue suede pumps and an Anya Hindmarch snakeskin clutch finish off her ensemble. Now, it's time to compare and contrast; which of Kate's peplum looks gets your seal of approval? Let us know in comments.
2012 Fall New York Fashion Week: Rebecca Taylor
Rebecca's girl is both an homage to '90s grunge and a fresh-faced street-styler. The A/W collection marries the designer's signature sweet side with darker territory, at least where texture and colour are concerned. Rebecca's palette is decidedly moody in deep brown, burgundy, and black on leather, herringbone, wool, and velvet layers. Then she counters with cool-girl silhouettes; layers are in perfect proportion — for every slick leather layer, there's also a sheer-chiffon sleeve, slinky sequins, or abstract print. There's a lightness to counter the depth of her colours; she still homes in on that girlie factor we love in a pretty peplum top, a sexier snake-print halter dress, or ultra-femme sheer pleats. Like front-rower Olivia Palermo, this girl is something of a mix-master who's got as much femininity as she does cool-girl edge.
- Trends: Rich texture in leather, velvet, and jacquard; sequins, peplum, heavy layers, and exotic print.
- Colours: Brown, grey, and black with just a pop of purple and blue.
- Key Piece: We love the open sheer-chiffon pleats on the gorgeous full-length print dress; also the cool factor of a leopard coat done in ombre.
- Accessories: Metallic ankle-strap heels, fur-adorned ankle boots, chain-strap crossbody bags, and oversize leather satchels.
- Who Would Wear It: Street-chic celebs like Nicky Hilton would rock the moto-style jackets and edgy layers.
