Thanks to Freida Pinto's latest role in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, we've been treated to an onslaught of her enviable looks. After spotting her in a chartreuse Roland Mouret, an asymmetrical Juan Carlos Obando, and a neon shift, it hit us — the girl has a penchant for dressing that mirrors her acting career. With an affinity for indie films, she's carved out a career that balances smaller, unique projects with bigger blockbuster films. Likewise, her style CV is just as unique: bold colour, asymmetrical hemlines and necklines, offbeat prints, tuxedo details, and even saris have all had their moments on the red carpet. James Franco, Freida Pinto and Tom Felton got dressed up for the premiere of their new movie, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, in LA today. Freida stood out in a bright green dress for the occasion, and the three posed with the extended cast for a series of photos. Tom had extra support from his long-time Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who made his love for his friend known by wearing a T-shirt that read “I (Heart) Tom Felton.” This film is Tom’s first post-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II project, and he’ll continue to shed his Draco Malfoy image with even more different films in the pipeline. Rupert is also keeping busy with four projects in the works.
