It's been a big week in the world of celebrity tweets, with just about every star we can think of taking to social media to get their voices heard. Russell Crowe's got a list of demands for The Graham Norton Show, Natalie Bassingthwaighte has a lot to be thankful for, Kate Perry made one thing clear for her followers, and Ruby Rose stood up for the much-talked about Amanda Bynes. Amanda herself has had a lot to say, and she's got a message for certain people out there. Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen has again won Twitter, contacting a whole bunch of celebrities to see how they'd reply. Wait 'til you see what happened. . .
Tweets of the Week: Scott Dooley, Chrissy Teigen, Fifi Box, Russell Brand & More!
When your Twitter feed is full of comedians, models and actors who moonlight at geniuses, it's a pretty safe bet that some of the tweets you read will be great. This week, Scott Dooley won Twitter with his doozy — and we'd happily push to get his definition of the word "selfie" added to the dictionary. Model Chrissy Teigen is upset about something (and we can totally feel her pain), Fifi Box has had a very awkward moment with her mum and singer Pink loves someone's sour breath (true story!). Russell Brand tweeted about who he thinks was the last true rock star, Ben Affleck mourned the loss of an industry legend and Neil Patrick Harris might just have the best partner ever. . . Ruby Rose Taking Time Out to Focus on Her Health
![]()
Ruby Rose will be taking a break from her career to focus on her health. She took to Twitter to let her fans know that she is still suffering from depression, posting on early Sunday morning in a series of tweets, “It is with great sadness that despite everything I have tried in the short time I was given I am still losing my battle with depression . . . It is because of this that I will be making it my priority to take some time off work to make me the woman who once inspired so many . . . No no! Im not giving up. You know that aint me! Im just addressing it and putting it before anything else right now xxx love u.”
She’s had to cancel some upcoming DJ appearances and apologised, writing she’s “sorry. Very. But these things need attention sometimes.” And she’s had no shortage of support on social media, particularly from high profile women such as Jessica Rowe and Charlotte Dawson, who have been in the same position as her. A surprised Ruby tweeted, “God! Thank you so much for all these beautiful tweets. Another reminder of what is important. I wasn't expecting that all.”

Real Beauty: 5 Minutes With Ruby Rose
Last night we revealed her catchy cover of the Debbie Harry classic, "One Way or Another", as part of her role as the face of JAG's Get Back campaign, and now it's time to learn a little bit about Ruby Rose's real life beauty habits (try saying that five times fast!). We visited the set as she was being made up with sexy smoky eyes and those blonde extensions, and chatted all things short hair, makeup, femininity and more. Click through.

Ruby Rose Rocks Long, Blonde Hair & Sings For JAG Get Back
Our resident and insanely pretty tomboy has had a makeover. Sporting long blonde extensions for Bombshells By JAG — part of the brand's Get Back campaign — Ruby Rose would be almost unrecognisable if it weren't for those signature tattoos. The iconic label wanted to go back to its rock roots (did you know Bianca Jagger was a huge fan?), so they enlisted our very own DJ-slash-model-slash-presenter, Ruby.
Darren Borthwick helped transform Ruby's chin-length hair by adding blonde extensions and cutting them in to give that sexy, rock chic vibe. Ah, hot! But not only do we have a first look at Ruby as the face of Bombshells By JAG, we're also pleased to show you the film clip set to run alongside the images. To watch it, keep reading . . .
Sugar Diary: Our Week in Pics
We may fast be approaching the end of Summer, but we're still in party mode! With FabSugar editor Ali hitting numerous city hotspots to check out Autumn/Winter fashion collections (so many brights!), BellaSugar ed Alison chatting with Ruby Rose and Miranda Kerr — both are doing cool new things with their famous manes — and PopSugar's Jess attending a celeb-filled lunch, we were full up this week with all things bright and beautiful. In between the various events, we made room for chocolate (obviously), a bit of braiding and a lot of lingerie-related goodness. Click through to check it all out, and happy Friday!
Tweets of the Week: Lucy Hale, Judd Apatow, Lady Gaga & More!
Nothing tells us more about celebrities than their Twitter accounts. From detailing their daily lives to keeping us entertained with jokes and some very astute observations, there's much to learn from our favourite stars on social media. This week, a famous father and his (almost-equally) famous daughter both landed in our gallery — obviously humour runs in the family. Lady Gaga cleared up a rumour surrounding a nasty court case she's involved in, and Scott Dooley reckons he might be in with a chance with Miranda Kerr. Oh, and if there's one thing Lucy Hale takes seriously, it's ranch dressing . . . There's plenty more in here — click through now!
Style News: Ruby Rose & Isabelle Cornish land huge fashion gigs
Well, you certainly can't accuse these two of resting on their very stylish laurels! Ruby Rose and Isabelle Cornish — two of the busiest women in the business — have each landed a brand spankin' new role that's sure to cement their status as Aussie It girls. The Herald Sun reveals that Ruby has just signed on to be the new face of JAG, with the range being released this month. Ruby may not be the first person you'd associate with the label, but it's all part of the company's plan to revamp their image — sounds like they're heading in the right direction!
As for Isabelle, The Daily Telegraph has announced that she's the new face (and body) of Bonds, following in the footsteps of Rachael Taylor and Hayden Quinn. We told you she was having a moment — she was only just named Tony Bianco's new muse! Congrats to these two Aussie girls on their appointments, we can't wait to see the campaigns!
Celebrities Who Get the Party Started by Moonlighting as DJs
The main events of the Aussie party season may be over, but we're keeping the spirit alive by taking a look at celebrities who like being the life of the party by providing the night’s tunes. Alexa Chung loves to hit the decks at events (even though she’s claimed to be a ‘fake DJ’) and Elijah Wood has entertained at the after parties for some of his film premieres. Ruby Rose is transitioning her DJ career into that of a full-fledged musician, and Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s son Connor is juggling disc jockeying and acting. Click through to see which other celebs have taken a turn on the decks, as well as some of our favourite famous DJs.
See How Stars Celebrated Christmas
Christmas may be over, but the stars are still sharing their favourite holiday memories from this year. Miley Cyrus and John Mayer dressed up as Santa, while Ruby Rose said she took care of the Grinch, and Jesinta Campbell cherished time with her family. Click through to see how those stars and more got into the Christmas spirit on Tuesday.
