In Spain, supermodel Miranda Kerr was announced as the face of cult fashion label Mango, while in LA, Hugh Jackman received a much-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Cate Blanchett made waves in London, where she wowed the crowds in a long white dress, and Naomi Watts hung with her The Impossible co-stars at a private screening. As for the non-Aussies? They were busy too - one international superstar hit our shores for a string of concerts, one cute couple did some Christmas shopping together, and a group of five girls put their girl power together once again. How To Nail the Silly Season Dress Codes

With the end of the year comes the silly season, and with the silly season comes a slew of social invitations. Fun! Not so fun is figuring out what to wear. The Spice Girls reunited yesterday for the premiere of the Viva Forever! musical, and we couldn't help but notice that although the girls looked lovely, they looked like were going to five different events. Avoid any inappropriate-outfit moments by knowing your dress codes, and sticking to them! Here's our silly season styling rules:

It was a Spice Girls reunion last night at their Viva Forever!musical press event held at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Victoria Beckham was joined on the carpet by David, Romeo, Brookyn and Cruz (all in Burberry Tailoring), while Harper skipped out on the celebration. Victoria was reportedly running a bit late and missed out on the opportunity to pose with her fellow Spice Girls, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm. It's been a few months since we've seen the girl group back together after the fab five famously closed out the London Olympics with a medley of their biggest hits.

With the London Olympics closing ceremony kicking off at 6 in the morning (it repeats at 9:30 p.m. on Channel Nine), we’re not surprised that some people missed the much-anticipated Spice Girls reunion! It was a moment that took us back to the good old days of Ginger, Baby, Sporty, Posh and Scary Spice, as Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chrisholm, Victoria Beckham and Mel B performed “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life” while riding around Olympic Stadium on the top of colourful taxis. But enough about what happened - watch it now!

Early this morning we bid the London Olympics farewell as we watched the spectacular closing ceremony bring the Summer Games to a close. Millions of people around the world tuned in to celebrate the best of British music, with performances from acts such as One Direction, Annie Lennox, Take That, George Michael, The Who, and the much-anticipated Spice Girls reunion! Some of the girls shared their post-performance photos as they partied on. Meanwhile, other things that have been documented in social media pictures include Sally Pearson’s gold medal win for the 100m hurdles event, Usain Bolt’s haircut, and Stephanie Rice’s jaunts around the Olympics once her races had finished. The Spice Girls Reunite in Style for the London Olympics Closing Ceremony

If the supermodel pack won gold for their catwalking prowess at the London Olympics closing ceremony this morning, we'd have to award a silver to the Spice Girls and their chic on-stage ensembles. The girl group who defined the '90s reunited for an energetic performance, with Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Baby and Posh zooming around the Olympic stadium atop their own black London taxi cabs. Of course, it was what the Spicies wore that got our attention first and foremost - Victoria Beckham surprisingly didn't wear one of her own designs, instead opting for a business-at-the-front, party-at-the-back black gown by Giles Deacon. Mel C looked chic and sporty in a crisp jumpsuit, Emma Bunton looked suitably sweet in a hot pink frock with sequinned sleeves, Mel B was sparkilicous thanks to Zuhair Murad and Geri Halliwell paid tribute to her famous Union Jack dress via a bustle on her LRD. It was glam, it was fast, it was fun! Can we get a zig-a-zig-ahh?
