Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise had some company in the form of Katie’s brother, Martin, and a cute dog as they made their way around Chelsea Piers in NYC yesterday. Katie and Suri are settling into life in the Big Apple before the 6-year-old starts her education at the prestigious Avenues School. Katie and ex-husband Tom Cruise have finalised their swift divorce, but the October issue of Vanity Fair features a revealing new report on how Tom and the Church of Scientology apparently selected his new bride. Tom is currently holidaying in Croatia, where he's been spotted in the company of beautiful women.

Another week bites the dust! Our favourite celebrities have been busy this week, fronting up at premieres, walking catwalks and carrying precious cargo as they hit the streets of Sydney, Los Angeles and New York. Miranda Kerr and her husband Orlando seem like permanent Sydney fixtures after spending a few weeks here, and we were happy to see them out and about and looking as loved up as ever. Overseas, Robert Pattinson joked about being homeless with a talk show host, while Gwyneth and her friend Jake G hit up a screening of Jake's new movie in the Hamptons. Not to be outdone, a slew of stars like January Jones and Hilary Duff showed off their accessories of choice — their cute little kids! Inseparable mum-and-daughter team, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise have been getting around town in New York over the last few weeks — stopping in at the Museum of Modern Art for lunch last week, hitting the Central Park and Bronx zoos, and having fancy dinners at celebrity fave, Nobu. This week, it looks like gorgeous little Suri has learnt how to ride a bike. These are the first pics of Katie teaching her how to control a bicycle, but from the looks of things, Suri is a natural! She only needed mum's guidance a handful of times, and otherwise seemed quite content to do her own thing. Two things — one, could Suri get any cuter? We think not. And two, is it just us, or has Katie totally come into her own, fashion-wise, in the last few months? We love her classic white tee, jeans and tan belt ensemble, not to mention how hands-on she is with her daughter. Click through for more cute photos!

There were three major movie premieres in Australia this week — The Bourne Legacy, The Campaign and The Sapphires — so celebs were a-plenty. While Jeremy Renner, Will Ferrell and Jess Mauboy & co. lit up the red carpets in Sydney and Melbourne, in Hollywood it was family-time galore. Multiple celebs and their partners were seen stepping out on the town with their cute mini-mes in tow, and we're happy to report that everyone looks more loved-up than ever! Royal fave Kate Middleton worked the London Olympics with her brother-in-law Prince Harry, and Gisele showed off her growing baby bump... Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise held hands on their way into Nobu for a late dinner in NYC on Tuesday night. The mother-daughter duo are frequent sights around the city that they now call home. Earlier this week, Katie and Suri visited MoMA together following stops at the Bronx and Central Park Zoos. Suri did, however, take a break from urban life with Katie for a trip to Disney World with dad Tom Cruise. Last week, Tom and Suri had fun splashing around at Disney's Blizzard Beach together. Despite their divorce, Tom and Katie are still talking for their daughter's sake. Tom may even plant roots close to the Big Apple to see more of Suri, who will spend a majority of her time with Katie in NYC. Tom's house hunting in Greenwich, Connecticut, according to new reports.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise stopped by the garden at the Museum of Modern Art for a snack today. Suri is back with her mother in NYC after spending some time with her father, Tom Cruise, at Disney World in Florida last week, where they went on rides, splashed in the pools, and even spent a night in the elusive suite inside Cinderella Castle. Today’s outing for Katie and Suri featured some cute moments and exchanges between the pair, with the six-year-old trying to feed her mum. Katie and Tom quickly finalised a settlement less than two weeks after Katie filed for divorce at the end of June.

Suri beat the heat in a cute pink skirt, though on Saturday, she was all about matching her friend for a trip to the Bronx Zoo. Katie and Suri fed giraffes during the visit. Katie rounded out her weekend with a Friday night dinner out alongside her lawyer and his wife. A lot has been made about the interviews with Katie that have come out recently, though they were all conducted before she announced her split from Tom Cruise. Still, she's stayed pretty quiet in the wake of her divorce news. Katie skipped an event she was scheduled to host in LA this weekend. She is slated to return to Broadway in Spring, and Katie was a topic of conversation at the Summer TCA in LA, where Krysten Ritter revealed her hopes that Katie would guest star with James Van Der Beek on Don't Trust the B— in Apartment 23.

Katie Holmes brought Suri Cruise to check out the animals at the Bronx Zoo on the weekend. Suri and Katie looked like they were having a blast feeding the giraffes. Suri and her friend even wore matching shirts for the outing. Katie left Suri at home for one adults-only evening earlier in the weekend. Katie had dinner out with her lawyer while meanwhile across the country Tom Cruise went out to lunch with his own legal council. Katie stuck around NYC instead of flying to LA for her annual Dizzy Feet Foundation celebration of dance event on Saturday. Instead, she's continuing to take advantage of all there is to do in the Big Apple before returning to the Broadway stage and holding her first ever Holmes & Yang runway show during New York Fashion Week in September.

Tom Cruise picked up Suri as they headed into an NYC hotel together yesterday. He's back with his youngest daughter for the first time since news of his divorce from Katie Holmes became public late last month. Tom was away filming Oblivion in Iceland and most recently Mammoth Lakes, California. While Tom's been busy on set, Suri's been spending time with her mum in the Big Apple. Katie and Suri have visited a children's museum, been regulars at Chelsea Piers, and stepped out with Katie's mum, Kathleen. It looks like Katie and Suri's home base will continue to be in Manhattan since the 6-year-old will start private school there later this year, though Tom apparently has plans to visit regularly.
