The competition is slowly heating up on American Idol, and last night the ladies gave it their all for a chance to grab one of those coveted spots in the top 12. While some of the ladies like Didi stepped up to the plate, others like Katelyn and Paige may have put themselves on the chopping block. Time to recap and make your own predictions for who will be sent packing on Thursday night.

Alright, Seven, you got us. You promo'd this week's Lost as so incredibly shocking you couldn't even show us the footage. Well, it has its share of jaw-dropping moments (especially the last five minutes!), but mainly it just serves as a nice connection episode, ready to set us up for when the real drama hits the fan. And boy, is it about to.
The storyline focuses on Sayid as he finally confronts Dogen about why he's trying to kill him. A four-star fistfight ensues—seriously, Jason Bourne, eat your heart out—which kick starts another battle of good against evil. Only this time, Sayid is the pawn. Plus, in a nice flip to the sideways world, we learn more on Sayid's family and the woman he loves. I don't want to give too much away, so let's get down to it. Relive the episode (and share your theories to some of my questions!) after the jump!

They're baaaaack! This week on Grey's Anatomy, Meredith, and Izzie make their returns to Seattle Grace/Mercy West, though only Mere is back in scrubs. Izzie heads back to the hospital with her favourite high-school teacher in tow; a sweet guy who's suffering from what appears to be dementia and is constantly referring to Izzie as a pregnant teen. Meanwhile, Hunt brings in a new "cardio god" (Kim Raver), though Cristina isn't exactly thrilled that her "gift" is a hot leggy blonde that already has a rapport with her boyfriend.
Plus, Mere and Derek have a few adorable moments while Sloan becomes the show's new gossip girl. There's a lot more to talk about, so let's get into it.

Now that the Oscar hoopla has started to die down, it's time to catch up on the latest going-ons with our favourite Sunday night medical drama. This week's House case involved a young teenybopper with an ego and compulsive lying streak to boot. Sounds intriguing, but personally, I was more wrapped up in all of the personal drama going on with House and a certain fellow female doctor.

This week's episode of Desperate Housewives had a lot of the same themes as last week—Bree can't make up her mind about Orson, Katherine is crazy town and Gaby's parenting skills fall under scrutiny. The trouble continues for Lynette, Tom and their growing family and for once the Bolens stay (mostly) out of trouble. It wasn't exactly filler, but it wasn't the juiciest episode we've seen either.

On last night's episode of Mad Men, we got a closer look into Peggy Olson's pysche. She's determined to get respect from the guys at Sterling Cooper, but still envies the attention that comes with being a damsel in distress. Peggy's been known to let her emotions get the best of her in the past and I'm a little worried about the level of her relationship with Don. That said, I'm glad that she's getting more attention this season after taking a backseat last year. What about you—are you excited to see more of Peggy?
