Ali Oetjen, one of this year’s most popular Bachelorettes on The Bachelor, may have mended her broken heart — she told Tim Robards on the post-grand final episode After the Final Rose that she wasn’t in love with him anymore — but something that’s still on the mend is her knee, which she injured on the show during a group date episode on a boat. When we caught up with Ali a few weeks ago she said she still couldn’t straighten it, and this week she had her second knee reconstruction surgery since the injury. She also had some friendly faces dropping by to check in on her, including the show’s eventual lovebirds Tim and Anna, and some of her fellow Bachelorettes. Following surgery, Ali will spend a month in Noosa living with her parents “because they have to look after me [laughs]. And they’ve got a pool, so I’ll be doing rehab there.”
If people are questioning whether Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are still together after finding love on The Bachelor, the answer lies in their very active social media accounts — and it’s a resounding yes. After having to keep their relationship a secret for nine weeks, the time between the filming of the grand final and when it aired on TV, Tim and Anna are flaunting their love on Twitter and Instagram, from family dinners to their weekend drive up to Palm Beach. And the photogenic couple also stepped out for their first red carpet event together yesterday at the Australian premiere of Anchorman 2. So for further proof that Anna and Tim are still very much together, click through for their candid pictures so far.

The weather outside might be cold and miserable for us today, but our week was anything but! With a visit from the lovely Anna and Rochelle from The Bachelor, a good chat with Khloe Kardashian, enough fresh flowers to open our own florist and a buzzing premiere that had Kristen Wiig and Ben Stiller hitting our shores, it was a big and eventful week that we don't want to end. We also took in some gorgeous new pieces from various Australian labels (including a cool new collaboration), discovered a lipstick we'll be carting around this Summer, and ate our weight in mini burgers, sweet treats and fresh fruit. A huge weight has been lifted off Tim Robards’ and Anna Heinrich’s shoulders. After keeping the result of The Bachelor a secret for nine weeks, the lovebirds can finally go public with romance after the final decision aired on TV last night. Two romantic dates in Thailand helped Tim decide that it was criminal lawyer Anna who had won his heart over model Rochelle Emanuel-Smith, and now Tim and Anna can stop sneaking around to see each other and pick up their relationship in the real world. We caught up with Tim this morning to discuss when he knew Anna was The One, how they managed to see each other after filming the finale, how much input he had with those amazing dates, and his advice for next year’s Bachelor.
POPSUGAR Australia: How did you watch the grand final last night? We saw a picture of you on Instagram surprising Anna.
Tim: [Laughs] We were in a hotel room, so we orchestrated it so Anna was in a room with all of her friends, and I was in a room with my friends, and at the end I took all my mates up and friends and family, knocked on the door, and gave them all a big surprise. It was great. So the families got to meet each other. It was just so happy.
PS: At least it wasn't one of those shows where they film alternate endings so the winner remains a secret, and you both knew the result. It would have been awkward with a show like this.
Tim: Yeah. We knew and our families knew, but that was it. So all our friends — there were about 30 of us in each room — didn’t know, so it was a great surprise for them. It was great to have them there and finally be able to say, “I have this great girl and I’m in love.”

Tim Robards chose Anna Heinrich on the grand final of The Bachelor that aired tonight! The reveal came as Tim met with model Rochelle Emanuel-Smith first in Thailand to let her know that "my heart is leading me somewhere else." When he finally came face-to-face with Anna, he told her, "Anna, I love you. It feels so, so good to finally say it. I want to make you feel special every day. I can't wait to start the next part of our journey together."
Criminal lawyer Anna, who struggled with expressing her true feelings on her dates with Tim in case he didn't reciprocate them, told him, "I'm so glad you're in my life now." To mark the moment, Tim also presented Anna with a diamond ring he designed (he didn't propose), explaining, "This is a show of my commitment to us," also promising that he was done dating other girls. Anna replied, "I will be as committed to you as I possibly can, and I really do love you."

Anna Heinrich and Rochelle Emanuel-Smith have become great friends on the rollercoaster ride of emotions known as The Bachelor. That said, one of them will finish the show with a broken heart when Tim Robards reveals who he has chosen for the final rose in tonight’s grand final. We encouraged a little last-minute competition and asked Anna and Rochelle to list five reasons why she should be the list woman standing (even though the decision was made nine weeks ago and they know the outcome). Click through for their best selling points! Who do you think will win?
The Bachelor Grand Final airs tonight at 7:30 p.m. on Network Ten.
By tonight, the nation will know whether it was criminal lawyer Anna Heinrich or model Rochelle Emanuel-Smith who won Tim Robards’ heart when the final rose is handed out on the grand final of The Bachelor. Anna made a big impression on Tim from the start — she charmed her way through the whole lipstick-on-teeth dilemma during their first meeting — whereas Rochelle, while always stunning, became a real contender in the show’s later episodes. Both girls dropped by our office this afternoon for a pre-grand final chat — they were tight-lipped about the winner, but through the experience they’ve become really good friends, so it’s clear there’s no tension between the two. Read on for our interview with Anna and Rochelle on keeping the secret (for nine weeks!), returning to normal life, and whether there was anything they didn’t like about Tim!
POPSUGAR Australia: How hard has it been to keep the secret of who gets the final rose?
Anna: I know we both found it extremely difficult. I found it more difficult at the beginning, but as time went on it became easier and easier — all my friends understand my position, and we’ve all signed confidentiality agreements and I want to stick by that. But it has been so difficult, so I know it will be a huge relief off both our shoulders once it’s revealed tonight.
Rochelle: And the same for me. It’s everywhere and everyday, it’s been going on this whole time. People are a little disappointed when they feel they have this close bond to us, and we can’t tell them such a thing, it’s hard to get them to understand the logistics of it all. Every day you go somewhere different, and a new person is asking. They’re like, “Really, you’re not going to tell me?” It’s like, “I’m sorry!” You have to keep it upbeat and be like, “You’ll find out!” I was working with some models the other day, and we were in the back room getting changed, and I was like, “Do you want to find out the answer to this in the back room of this fashion show, or do you want to find out on the night of the final?” And they were like, “True, we’ll wait.”
Anna: Even though people want us to tell them, they actually don’t want us to ruin the surprise either.
Rochelle: It’s a sucky way to find out, and that’s a way to keep them at bay.
