Miley Cyrus struck a provocative pose for the cover of V Magazine's "Drawn to Fashion" issue. She bared a part of her behind and modelled colourful hairstyles in the shoot with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. Miley also got candid about her romance with Liam Hemsworth in an interview with the magazine, explaining that working on her upcoming album has taken away time from their relationship. • On those pesky breakup rumours: "I'm not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it's 'Are they broken up? Because we don't see a photo of them.' I don't have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don't. I'd rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him."
• On balancing love and work: "He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I've never done that with anything. I've put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it."
• On her new sound: "I can never say that I don't love 'Party in the U.S.A.' and that I'm not appreciative of it. It would be like my dad saying that he hated 'Achy Breaky.' It's what gives you everything that you have. I would never take it back."

Kristen Stewart was photographed by Inez & Vinoodh for the cover of V Magazine's Spring Preview 2013 issue. In an interview with the magazine, Kristen spoke about her film On the Road, which is available for DVD release next month. In particular, Kristen opened up about Marylou, the wild teen bride she portrays in the movie, and the difficulties and responsibilities that come with playing a character on screen. Here are highlights from Kristen Stewart in V magazine:

• On her On the Road character, Marylou: "Until you really get to know the woman behind the character, it's difficult to connect the dots. I'm a contemporary, sensitive, normal girl, and it's difficult to try and empathise with someone who seems to have a lack of empathy. She seems a bit callous in the book."
• On her new attitude: "I have realised that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it's a difficult thing. So I've gotten quite comfortable with just being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing: it's not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them."
• On her responsibility as an actress: "It's a pretty f**king odd thing to want to pretend to be another person and then have a lot of other people who watch you do that. You have this experience of reading something, and if you don't bring it to life, you're basically deleting it. The responsibility is amazing."

Celine Dion struck a series of seductive poses for photographer Sebastian Faena in the new issue of V Magazine, which has Nicole Kidman baring her bottom on the cover. She let members of the publication's staff inside her Florida home for the interview and shoot, and channelled her inner Playboy bunny in the 1960s-inspired spread, which was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. Celine, whose Vegas show has been running for just over a year, spoke about motherhood, the media, and her fears about fame in the accompanying interview. She also suggested that her free-spirited approach to the session mirrors her philosophy on life. Here are some highlights:

• On being transparent about her personal life: "For me to tell someone that my husband had cancer, that we were struggling to have kids, or whatever we've gone through, talking about my life lets people know the real me . . . I've been an open book all my life, and I think that's why people like me. I've been criticised for it, but I'm not forcing myself to be the person that you see."
• On how motherhood changed her: "I thought I had a life before, but until I was a mum, I had no idea. Why would I want a hit? Why would I want to win awards? There is nothing I can hope and wish for my career: I can just hope to be blessed as a mother for the rest of my life the way I am now."
• On being impacted by Whitney Houston's death: "I have always been scared of the industry. Why? Because I think it's a place where anything is possible. It's a 'Yes' place, especially if you have success. And then you think that you have family and friends, true friends. But sometimes the love of family isn't strong enough to overcome. I was just in shock when Whitney's life had been taken because of drugs. It's a big loss for all of us."

On the cover, Nicole is topless and showing some... cheek... as she puts it all on the line for the amazing Mario Testino. Rocking an edgy blonde shag, ice blue eyeshadow and matte pink lips, Nicole lives up to her risk-taking reputation and love for getting into character.
