Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds Discuss the Perks of Making Animated Movies
Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds stopped by the Today show in NYC this morning to promote their new animated film, The Croods. The duo answered questions about voicing an animated film and joked about the accessories and attitudes of their Stone Age characters. Emma joked that the girl she plays, Eep, is obsessed with shoes just like most other women, and Ryan quipped about his character Guy's interest in bum bag.
Doing voice work, though, suited Ryan just fine. He said, "What other kind of showbiz job do you get to roll out of bed in a muumuu and a scrunchie and jump in a booth and just have fun?" Emma is putting in time to promote The Croods after a busy week of shooting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with her boyfriend and co-star, Andrew Garfield. Ryan and Emma will have a bit more work to do together before The Croods hits US cinemas March 27.
James Franco Accepts a Walk of Fame Star With Friends at His Side
James Franco was honoured in Hollywood yesterday with a star on the Walk of Fame. The actor's latest movie, Oz the Great and Powerful, hit cinemas around the country on Thursday. James has been gearing up for the Disney release for several weeks, kicking things off in February at a premiere in LA, where he waved to fans from Oz's infamous hot-air balloon before walking the red carpet.
James was joined by his former Freaks and Geeks co-star Seth Rogen at yesterday's star ceremony. Oz director Sam Raimi, who previously worked with James on Spider-Man, shared a few words about the actor to mark the occasion, while his brother Dave and mom Betsy looked on proudly. It's been a fun few days overseas for Matt after he met up with pal George Clooney on Wednesday. Matt and George grabbed dinner with friends as they gear up to get started on their new project. The duo are working together on Monuments Men, which is expected to start filming next month.

Johnny Ruffo Moves to Summer Bay!
Johnny Ruffo, the singing, dancing and presenting Aussie superstar in the making, will soon be relocating to Summer Bay — as in, becoming a bona fide Home and Away cast member! The West Australian has been slated to star in 16 episodes of the popular soap, and has apparently already started filming. It's just another notch in this quadruple-threat's entertainment belt — he placed third in 2011's The X Factor Australia, won Dancing With The Stars earlier this year, has released two singles and presents segments on The X Factor. Now, with the Home and Away gig taking precedence, it looks like Johnny will be busier than ever! We can't wait wait to check out his acting skills — congrats, Johnny!
