Now that Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are engaged, we can't help but get excited — it's Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen! Thanks to their breakout roles on Gossip Girl and The OC, Leighton and Adam have cemented themselves as a match made in teen-drama heaven. Sure, they aren't really their characters, but it's fun to look back at how their onscreen roles may have paved the way for this upcoming union. To celebrate the couple's big news, let's examine why Blair and Seth are perfect for each other, on screen and off.
Tonight marks the end of Gossip Girl's epic six-season run, and while the goodbye to our favourite Upper East Siders and Brooklynites may be bittersweet, we're taking this opportunity to dive right into one of the things this TV show did best: fashion. For the last five years, the cast has become a veritable look book for uptown vs. downtown styling, and we're all the luckier for it. Since day one, Blake Lively, as Serena van der Woodsen, has been the boho-chic complement to Leighton Meester's Blair Waldorf luxe rendition of ladylike prep. And, as the Tuesday night fixture proved seriously addictive, we've become privy to the importance of headband couture, must-have handbags, and some of the most gorgeous heels to ever grace primetime programming. Oh, did we mention the eye candy? Because Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Penn Badgley certainly bring that in spades. Let's not waste another nostalgic moment — click through now for some of this season's best on-screen style, as well as your first look at tonight's series finale fashion. Catch it at 8.30pm on FOX8.

We're not looking forward to the end of one of our fave TV shows, Gossip Girl, but we're definitely enjoying watching all the behind-the-scenes action as it happens on the set. Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford were on set together for a long time, which makes us wonder what's in store for their respective characters, Chuck, Blair and Lily. While Penn Badgley and Blake Lively and weren't on set for quite as long, we're just relieved to see them there. It's not Gossip Girl unless there's some serious Dan and Serena tension going on! We simultaneously can't wait, and are dreading, the start of the final season — if the pictures are anything to go by, it's going to be a great one! Xoxo...
Gossip Girl's sixth and final season will premiere in the States on Oct. 8, but we've already spotted the show's stars on the streets of NYC in a bevy of covetable outfits. Blake Lively repped Serena van der Woodsen's signature upscale bohemian vibe in a cobalt blue Marc by Marc Jacobs halter dress and cut-out Christian Louboutin sandals one day, and the next, donned a sexyPour La Victoire frock with a cool coloour-blocked satchel tote. Here's your first look at what's trending — on the set of Gossip Girl season six.

From the Golden Globes to the set of Gossip Girl to the Spring '12 runway of Louis Vuitton, headbands are still adorning the head of many a celebrity and models alike. At the 2012 Golden Globes we saw Charlize Theron wearing a dazzling vintage diamond Cartier headband, Michelle Williams working a vintage satin and jewelled Fred Leighton piece, and Busy Philips with a simple double-stranded silver hnumber to accentuate her bouffant French roll. It's one red carpet style easily transferrable to both everyday and evening wear, so we've uncovered five of our favourite headpieces from Jennifer Behr, Sportsgirl, Mimco and more!
