It's been a massive week for celebs, with numerous different events meaning everyone who's anyone was out and about. It was a week of musical resurgence, what with two of our all-time favourite music makers — Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake — getting back behind the microphone for the Super Bowl. In Australia, Miranda Kerr came back and stormed the catwalk for David Jones at the launch of their 2013 Autumn/Winter collections, and Michael and Kyly Clarke showed the world that marriage is working very well for them as they celebrated the Allan Border Medal. Kate Bosworth turned the big 3-0 yesterday! After interviewing her back in October, it became apparent why she's so popular in Hollywood circles — she's just so lovely and down to earth. As we fly towards Christmas, the celebrity events are all slowing down, allowing our favourite stars some time to spend with their families and loved ones. Hugh Jackman, Eddie Redmayne, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried continued their hectic press tour schedule with another Les Misérables event in Los Angeles — lucky they all like each other so much! Elsewhere, Aussie singer (and star of film The Sapphires) Jessica Mauboy represented at the Dubai International Film Festival, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles kept each other company at a tattoo parlour, and one gorgeous celebrity announced her pregnancy. Then there was Miss Universe — USA may have taken the crown, but Miss Universe Australia Renae Ayris did us proud when she placed third runner-up. One thing's clear: Aussies certainly made their mark on the world map this week! In Spain, supermodel Miranda Kerr was announced as the face of cult fashion label Mango, while in LA, Hugh Jackman received a much-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Cate Blanchett made waves in London, where she wowed the crowds in a long white dress, and Naomi Watts hung with her The Impossible co-stars at a private screening. As for the non-Aussies? They were busy too — one international superstar hit our shores for a string of concerts, one cute couple did some Christmas shopping together, and a group of five girls put their girl power together once again. Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in a shimmery cocktail dress from Vivienne Westwood in NYC last night. She was joined at the New 42nd Street Gala by Australian actress Naomi Watts and her partner Liev Schreiber. Liev and Naomi chatted with press before the event and were later spotted leaving with their sons, Sasha and Kai. It was fitting that Naomi was on hand for the celebration, as this year's event honoured the Australia Council For the Arts. Fellow Aussies Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman were the honorary chairs for last night's event, though Hugh missed out on the festivities as he's currently on the road promoting Les Misérables. Naomi's been hanging on the East Coast in recent days spending time with her boys, but she'll soon be packing up and heading to California where she's expected to attend an LA press day this weekend for her forthcoming release, The Impossible. Early Oscar buzz is already surrounding the film, which is based on the true story of a family caught in 2004's tragic tsunami.

Lauren Conrad got into the festive spirit wearing a Lot 78 "Ho! Ho! Ho!" sweater as she arrived at The Grove in LA on the weekend. She was there for an appearance on Extra and shared her gift picks during the show. Lauren is also showing off seasonal content on her website and recently posted ideas for a present exchange and ways to give back this season. She has plenty to be thankful for herself, including her boyfriend, William Tell — this will be their first Christmas together as a couple!

Robert Pattinson stepped out to celebrate Richard Gere's Arbitrage at a luncheon held at LA's Osteria Mozza yesterday. The duo posed for photos together as Richard mingled with guests, including director Nicholas Jarecki, at the restaurant. He didn't have co-star Susan Sarandon on hand, but Homeland's Morena Baccarin made an appearance. It was Rob's latest outing following a stop at Chateau Marmont for drinks with a friend on Tuesday. Rob is back on the West Coast after travelling home with girlfriend Kristen Stewart on Monday. The couple visited London and NYC following overseas promotions for Breaking Dawn Part 2.

To say it's been a big week might be a bit of an understatement. The 2012 ARIA Awards dominated the Aussie celebrity scene on Thursday night, with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Russell Brand and many more turning up to celebrate our music industry's night of nights. Overseas, Katy Perry was a busy girl, first making an appearance at the UNICEF Snowflake charity ball with Selena Gomez, before being given a big honour at the Billboard Women in Music lunch. Miranda Kerr took her little guy Flynn everywhere with her this week (obviously looking uber-stylish, always) and Kate and Wills reminded us that, yes, they are still one of the cutest couples in the world. Hello, Summer! We're so happy to be capping this hectic week off with a beautiful sunny day. There were two things on our minds this week: the festive season, and the 2012 ARIA Awards. Our office Christmas tree went up and the advent calendars came out as we got into the spirit of things, and as for the ARIAs? PopSugar editor Jess was on the ground at the red carpet, snapping candid shots of Taylor Swift, Reece Mastin and a few Big Brother contestants, while we kept you guys updated online (wait 'til you see what we had for dinner!). Many new beauty products came our way (which BellaSugar ed Alison compiled into cute gift guides) and FabSugar ed Ali had fun trying out some super cool sunglasses. Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, and Anne Hathaway posed together in Tokyo last night at a promotional event for Les Misérables. Anne arrived in Japan with her husband, Adam Shulman, over the weekend and she was greeted by a group of fans bearing gifts at the airport. Hugh, meanwhile, popped up in South Korea, where he spoke at a press conference and attended a premiere on Monday. It's just the beginning of a busy few weeks of press as the cast gears up for the Christmas release of their movie. Anne's work is already getting Oscar buzz, though we'll have to wait until nominations are announced on Jan. 10 to find out if she's in the running.
