Jessica Simpson's Halloween costume was on display today! She shared a photo with fans via her website and Twitter account, showing her decked out in a milkmaid-esque costume with her waist cinched in a corset. Eric had a Braveheart look going on, while little Maxwell was a chicken. It was just this time last year that Jessica confirmed her pregnancy. She memorably shared a photo of Eric as Larry Byrd and herself as a mummy, saying, "I'm going to be a mummy!" Just a few months later, baby Maxwell entered the world and is now a part of the Simpson-Johnson family dress-up fun.

Jessica Simpson shared sweet photos of baby Maxwell Drew on her blog yesterday. Mother and daughter posed together during a recent backyard birthday celebration for Jessica's fiancé, Eric Johnson, who turned 33 on Sept. 15. Jessica tweeted, "last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms!"

The family's back in LA after recently spending some time on the East Coast. Jessica made her first post-baby appearances on Good Morning America and Katie, where she spoke about her impressive 40-pound weight loss with the help of Weight Watchers. She is also working hard to connect with new mums through a guest-blogging spot on iVillage, where she recently shared five ways that her life has changed since giving birth to Maxwell.

Jessica Simpson was all smiles as she arrived at LAX and landed in NYC yesterday looking fresh faced. She wore all black for the outing and had fiancé Eric Johnson and their daughter, Maxwell, close behind. Jessica was headed to the East Coast to be a guest on the premiere episode of Katie Couric's new talk show, Katie, tomorrow. We'll also apparently see Jessica in her new Weight Watchers ad, which is set to show in the US sometime this week. Jessica has been working hard since the birth of Maxwell in May, meeting up with trainer Harley Pasternak and sticking to her Weight Watchers meal plan as she focuses on losing the baby weight. It looks like she's ready to show off all her efforts as she embarks on her first public appearance as a new mum.

The first pictures of Maxwell Johnson, Jessica Simpson's daughter, are out today! People paid a reported $800,000 to get exclusive rights to the images, which appear in the magazine's Australian publication Who, on sale June 1. Jessica opened up about being with Maxwell and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, in the accompanying interview. She said, "Life has completely changed . . . from how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!"

Jessica and Eric welcomed Maxwell, who weighed over nine pounds, by C-section on May 1. The couple hired decorator Rachel Ashwell to decorate Maxwell's nursery, and a grateful Jessica tweeted her thanks recently. Jessica wrote, "I sincerely love Rachel Ashwell and all the life she has brought into my family's home. She is an extraordinary woman with an amazing gift." Now, Jessica says she's taking time off from her busy career to fully focus on motherhood.

Jessica Simpson and Rachel Zoe turned out in NYC last night for the 25th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards. The show was held at the Museum of Modern Art, and Jessica posed for pictures with fiancé Eric Johnson before heading inside.

Rachel received one of two launch of the year prizes from her friend and fellow shoe creator Brian Atwood — and funnily enough, Rachel presented Brian with the corresponding honor! Recounting a tale about loving shoes in her youth, Rachel said, "I was a salesperson at Nine West in the Short Hills Mall. True story. And I was salesperson of the week. Every week." Jessica was on hand to present her business partner Vince Camuto with brand of the year. Referring to reports that her Jessica Simpson Collection has earned $1 billion in revenue, Jess said of Vince, "I'm not the billion-dollar baby. Vince Camuto is truly the billion-dollar baby." Jess is a veteran at the shoe gala, as she was honored with launch of the year back in 2005.
